Remarks :

IIT Roorkee is one of the best and established institute. I did MBA for here because of its name and the placements they provide. I got selected on my CAT percentage, my past academic percentage and the interview round. There is also a WAT which tests our writing ability.

Course Curriculum Overview :

All the years are productive here. In your 1st year you understand the concepts which are then taken to the more significant level through an internship or programs or guest lectures. Here specialization is offered in various fields. The faculty staff are highly educated and experienced.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 1230000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

With my past experience and DOMS IIT I got my placement at Paytm. I am working as Alliance specialist. There are various tasks that I amworking on right now. Also the strategies which I am using here were the strategies which my professor taught me.

Placement Experience :

The top brands get attracted towards IIT because of its name and reputation. Top companies like Infosys, HCL, ICICI Bank, Paytm, etc. visit and recruite students. The institute also prepare the students well for cracking the interviews and getting a top notch company. Every year the placement rate gets higher.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

If you want to pay your fees in installments then you can do that as well. Financial assistance is given to the SC/ST category as there tuition fee is exempted. Also scholarships are provided in different categories to the meritorious students.

Campus Life :

If you want to take admission at DOMS IIT Roorkee then you are gonna live your exciting life. The college performance is good in terms of academics, sports, cultural activities, etc. For you there are various clubs in the college. The infrastructure is just amazing, from classrooms to libraries, labs to canteen, all is just fantastic.

Hostel Facilities :

You can get your own room if you want or you can share your room. It is enough spacious and well maintained. There are all basic amenities available with best equipments. The food is nutritious enough and you get variety. The hostel for boys and girls are different.

Admission :

WAT tests your writing skliis and personal interview tests your personality and thinking ability. The interview round in not that tough. You just need to listen the questions carefully and answer them.Prior to that you can prepare yourself from Google or YouTube videos.

Placement Experience:

The campus does provide placement opportunities for the students. For MBA students from the 3rd sem become eligible for sitting in placements. Companies for finance, marketing, and HR specialization frequently conduct placement drives on the campus. However, for Business Analytics the frequency is less compared to others.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Fee structure is all about the course will take around 4-5 lakh for the 2 year means approx 1lakh per semester. Scholarships is provided according to the percentage what we have done for master's they see bachelor's percentage and for bachelor's degree they see percentage of 12 according to that they provide scholarship. And always They give discount if u are from Uttarakhand means your domicile should be of Uttarakhand.

Overall positive learning and environment is great

Placement Experience:

Last semester students are eligible for placement There is a third party company namely selibi who is outsourcing employees to airlines or airports and placement are happening directly from the airlines or airports. Package 2.5 lakh average to the students of bachelor as well as masters in aviation. Profiles are executives,etc 50 to 70% students get placed every year.. Plans are to do job on airport and become a manager of aviation sector.

On campus placement is mode according to me in my college. For a cse student decent companies recuirt with a average package around 10 lack for cse ones. Almost 75 percent student placed in my year and 75-80 was the average for college.highest package was around 35 lacs

Review about overall experience in Doon Business School

Placement Experience:

There was good placements opportunities mainly for the marketing students but mostly it was only with the sales profiles and lesser packages and there were no such core finance jobs for the finance domain students there were no such opportunities for the hr students too.
