Entrance Preview :

IIT JEE (scored: 337/ 480). All India Rank 327 Opted for IIT Delhi, because it is the best engineering college in the country.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum was very detailed. Though many of the courses were interesting and of practical importance, some courses were redundant. Curriculum should be shortened, so that students can focus more on specific area. Computer sciences courses were very well organised.

Internships Opportunities :

I do not think that Indian Institute of Technology - Delhi offers too much of internship opportunities. Even if there may be some internship opportunities, I am not sure about the stipend, if any.

Placement Experience :

Placement and job opportunities are one of the best in the country. Many students get pre-placement offers, and every year over 300 companies visit the campus during placement season. All the major players from different industries like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Nvidia, Goldman Sachs, Tower Research, Deutsche bank, BCG, Unilever and many more top companies visit the campus.

College Events :

Cultural event is named Rendezvous. It is one of the biggest cultural fest in the north India. Artists from many different colleges and other IITs come and participate in the event. The event comprises of acting, dancing, lifestyle, and many other events.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Merit-cum-means scholarship is available to students whose parent's annual income is low.Merit-cum-means scholarship is available to students whose parent's annual income is low.Merit-cum-means scholarship is available to students whose parent's annual income is low.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio is very low. may be 1:10 ratio of girls to boys. Politics is prevalent in hostels during annual hostel elections. There are occasional events and parties organised at hostel and campus level. There are occasional events and parties organised at hostel and campus level.

Hostel Facilities :

Hotel facilities are decent. You will get furniture, almirah, book-shelf in the room. Besides, you will get washing machine, geyser in bathrooms. Hostels have nice gym, badminton court, and many table tennis tables. Mess food is decent, especially the breakfast.

Exam Structure :

Exams are very frequent. A typical 4 month semester comprises of 2 minor exams and one major exam. Besides, there are many short quizzes and assignments in between. The life becomes very hectic at times, if you are trying to complete all the assignments and take all the exams.

Admission :

Admission is based only on JEE examination score, comprising of Physics, Chemistry and Maths. I was invited for counselling in the IIT zone, from which I had appeared in JEE exam. In counselling I was supposed to fill the courses and colleges. Final course allotted is based on the score and the preference filled during counselling.

Faculty :

Almost all of the faculty are very well qualified, and all of the professors are PhD from premier universities and colleges across the world. Tough, I personally feel that the faculty for computer science are more in sync with the current industry trends, the other engineering faculties lack this thing.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is okayish nor too good neither too bad the average package here is around 6 lpa which is less but some companies do come and place the students in the campus itself also the network of alumni is good they also apply for offcampus placement and try build a network for the juniors. We often get internship notification from our seniors only

Course Curriculum Overview:

DU has many reputable colleges and departments that offer high-quality education, but like any institution, there may be variations in the quality of education depending on the specific course, faculty members, resources available, and other factors. there is some frequency for exam along with your perspective on their moderate level

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester companies started hiring interns which happens incampus obviously and they also pay kind of decent stipend somewhere around 20-40k. Placements here is decent enough like if you want that 1cr package you'll have to look for off campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Last years and around 60 % of the students have been placed. Also the average package has gone down and most companies are IT, consultancy and finance. Especially low placements for core engineering fields

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college is preety good .. the only thing you have to focus is you have to maintain your cgpa and you have to develop skills .. Bec companies offered roles on the basis of cgpa for example only 9+ cgpa can sit for the position which offer 25-30 lakhs .. so it's very important to take care of it throughout your 4 years of btech

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I wanted to pursue engineering and ipu has a great reputation. placements is also decent.Faculty is nice and teaching method is also nice. Student ratio is pretty bad especially in cse. There are two exams in one semester the midsem and endsem. Exams are moderately difficult. The college is also in a very lively location in Delhi and has many places for students to hang out. Faculty at msit, is well educated and best at their job of teaching, almost all the teachers are experience holders, teaching at msit. It's easy to pass the exams If you study from teachers notes because most of the questions are related to their notes in midsem and endsem. Exams are of 30 marks and 75 marks and passing marks are 12 and 30.But the cse branch is considered as top branch in the msit and is preferred over the other branches is what I have been told by the seniors. The faculty is quite qualified and know how to teach labs are also well maintained .
