Remarks :

Amity University follows an admission procedure for PhD students in which the first round is to clear the PET which is the PhD entrance test. If a student clears this round the next step is a Personal Interview in which faculties related to the different fields take interviews.

Course Curriculum Overview :

For me, this was a valid course because I have done my Bachelor's and master in Biotechnology. The professors are highly qualified and helpful. If students attend regular class works then it is not difficult to pass the written examination.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships offered can be stipend free or with a stipend, Again all of it depends upon the type, of course, one has studied. There are several projects undergoing in different departments. Task details are provided by the institute.

Placement Experience :

The campus placement is good. companies like GDRC, Mediception, Acadecraft etc have visited the campus for placements. After completing my PhD I would also like to opt for any professor job. Almost every student who sits in placement gets it and all this depends upon the type, of course, they have studied.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees structure of Amity University for PhD biotechnology is 50000 per semester. If scholars have qualified for any national level examination then they can apply for scholarships and financial assistantships also. They prefer NET, DBT, ICMR, DST etc.

Campus Life :

For freshers, the University organises a fest in which they organise games also. The University has a central Library and an E-library which consists of all kinds of books required by the students for reference.

Interview Experience :

There were written tests that included questions from General aptitude and some questions were area specific. In the interview questions were asked in the related field of research and a background check is done. Preparation can be done by books available for any national level exam.

Amity as already said is an amalgamation. You will get an exposure to the real World. Only problem faced here is the casual approach and sometimes attendance. You will grow practically , maturely and intellectually.
