Remarks :

Amity as already said is an amalgamation. You will get an exposure to the real World. Only problem faced here is the casual approach and sometimes attendance. You will grow practically , maturely and intellectually.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Mainly there are around 7-12 subjects per semester out of which 3 subjects are compulsory that comprises of behavioral sciences , communication skills and a foreign based language. Maintaining 75% is really necessary here. Labs are well equipped but you really have to make efforts to make the best out of it. Exams usually lasts for a month there are 6 months semester system.

Placement Experience :

Yes there are placements during the post graduation but don't expect any placement during graduation. No internships aren't provided by the college , student has to work hard to fetch the internship hence no stipend also.

College Events :

There are a lot of events happening all around amity at different parts. But the main includes the amity youth festival , inbush era (the summit) and sangathan inter amity sports fest that lasts for more than a month

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It depends the type of course you select. Like the courses like btech , mba are really very expensive. my course ranges around 60000-65000 per semester. So it isn't feasible for the lower middle class family

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes they do provide scholarship on both merit and sports based. you will be awarded 100% scholarship if you have scored more than 93% in your class 12 and a CGPA of 8 in your graduation. Whereas 50% to those who have scored 90% in class 12 and a CGPA of 7.5 in graduation. For sports you have to represent country at some sport.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio depends upon the type of course you select. There is no such race , religion , sexual orientation discrimination. We have a lot of extra curricular activities it's like you name them and amity has everything to offer you

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel things are really strict here. Hostellers aren't allowed to leave the college without the permission from their guardians. Also the people are allowed to go out on weekends that too with a permission from their parents.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes we have an app called amizone , all the alumni can interact there , infact you can get access regarding any amitian around you from that app. Moreover we have regular alumni meets too where everyone can interact.

Admission :

There are two ways of getting the admission 1) direct admission on merit that includes you will be awarded 100% scholarship if you have scored more than 93% in your class 12 and a CGPA of 8 in your graduation. Whereas 50% to those who have scored 90% in class 12 and a CGPA of 7.5 in graduation. 2) the other will include an entrance exam followed by a personal interview with the teachers of taken field.

Faculty :

Teachers here are well qualified. it includes all the doctorate holders or a visiting faculty (mostly pursuing their PhD ) There's a fixed programme of assessment that includes presentation , class test , viva , home assignment and what not. You can get both type of teachers regarding attendance that is may an easy attendance giver or really harsh.
