Remarks :

Administration team is a bit lazy, faculties are really good, college area wise is small but facilities will be competing with all reputed college. To sum up overall college is good growth will be professional and personally.

Entrance Preview :

I took GATE and my score was 500 out of 1000. This college academic focus is mainly on product design, innovations & research. My PG course is completely based on product design techniques and development.

Course Curriculum Overview :

PG course structure is a combo of technical which includes design aspects and also product design techniques. It will be useful to be design engineer or research fellow. Research fellows are having good facilities and scope through this college. the courses are designed mainly in product design and core research. electives selection is self dependent and some are mandatory. Huge options available in Choosing electives even possible to select interdisciplinary.

Internships Opportunities :

PG Students will get 12400rs intern by GOVT of INDIA. UG st/sc students will get scholarship. Japanese internship is available every year for 2 months period, you will get a stipend of 40,000 rs in indian currency per month.

Placement Experience :

UG computer fellows are having high probability to get a placement with high packages. The remaining groups and pg packages and placment is average. overall college placement will be around 70% every year. Companies are TCS, TRIMBLE, L&T, TVS SUNDRAM, MAHENDRA SATYAM, PVP LASERS etc.. the packages starts from 3lakhs to 7.5 lakhs per annum, computer science guys may also get 9 lakhs package even.

College Events :

Sambata is an cultural event happens every year in college, it is completely maintained and canvased by students alone, SBI, Indian Bank and some companies will sponser this event every year. Hostel Night, freshie night, ice cream night, dosa mela, farewells, annual days, DG nights will be there periodically.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is better when we compared to all IITs and NITs. Pg sem fee is around 35000/-including hostel and dining charges.UG fee structure is around 65000/- which Includes academic, dining and boarding. PHD fee is 20000 per semester including acadamic, dining and boarding. The fee structure is very much feasible to PG & PHD. Overall comparatively UG fee is expensive but feasible if we compared with other reputed institutes.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship is provided to sc/ st and inc candidates. Loan facilities are available by banks which are supported by college.

Campus Life :

Campus life is awesome, it's like portable mania. Gender ratio and diversity is very good. Labs are well maintained and included in acadamic courses, workshops and design compitions will be held regularly either by students or faculty. The sports facilities and students participation will be great.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms and facilities are A grade, we can't keep a name to them, it's just fabulous in design and maintaining the facilities. Final year UG and all PG, PHD will get single sharing rooms, remaining are twin or triple sharing rooms. The bathrooms are common to all.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni network is well maintained by administration team, all alumni are having their college mail ids and will be updated regularly about college events and functions etc.

Exam Structure :

College is self autonomous, college faculty will prepare and evaluate the exam paper, Integrity in examination conducting and evaluating will be well maintained. The evaluation is divided to one final exam, two quizzes and some internal assignments. The relative grading will be given as score.

Admission :

My admission is based on interview and a design test. The GATE qualified candidates are only allowed for admissions. Design test is just a product design no technical aspects. Interview will be on your projects and self validation of your design in test.

Faculty :

All the faculties did their PHD from reputed IITS and minimum 3years of teaching experience. The interaction between faculty and students will be good, all the courses are supported by their respective labs. the faculty will be handling all these sessions with a predefined timetable and schedules. Teaching will be either using projector or normal traditional process.
