Remarks

Indraprastha College is considered as one of the top colleges of Delhi University. The course offered is also a diverse course, which interests me to be a part of it. Having a beautiful campus, I feel very serene and calm being in that campus. I would definitely recommend it if talking about the infrastructure. About the Faculty Members, they are professional and experienced, Hence a double thumbs up. Only the bad thing about the college is that it is an off campus college, even though being considered under North Campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

My experience with the course has been extremely amazing. All the teachers are friendly. All of them are an epitome of trust and understanding. They are fully qualified, most of them having a PH.D. Degree. Teaching method of all the teachers are superb. My personal favourite teachers are Dr. Udaya Yogi Ma'am, Dr. Manaswini Yogi Ma'am and Dr. Paulavi Das Ma'am. The course is for 3 years having two semesters each. They were not at all difficult to pass provided if you focus and listen to your Professor obediently.

Placement Experience

4

For the placements, We have J.E.E.T. Placement Cell which sends you regular updates for the various jobs and trainings, physically as well online. Many events take place in the campus for making the students aware of the requirements and the detailings.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure for Philosophy is around 120000-150000 for the whole tenure of the college. Fees of other courses vary with small margins expect for BMMMC, which has an annual fee of rupees 1 lac. Fee Waivers are provided to the people who need it. For the placements, We have J.E.E.T. Placement Cell which sends you regular updates for the various jobs and trainings.

Campus Life

5

We have various events going on in the college some or the other day in the form of Seminars or events. They can be both formal as well as informal. We have freshers party in the first year of the college. Also, our annual fest called Shruti is one of a kind and famous. Library is flooded with the books you want, be it for academic purposes aur fiction.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since it is open learning university..they couldn't give us time.. because the class also got started 1 month before exam...and teachers had to finish...the syllabus. But they don't really care about us. And syllabus I think is okay .. in Commerce. It is updated.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral). My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

Placement Experience:

There was no such provision of jobs or fixed placements however there was a placement cell which was quite active and hence there were opportunities for placements by contacting the cell and placement fairs were also organised that were open for all, but not many opportunities were given. The companies that took candidates were economic times, TOI etc paying a very basic fresher stipend of 10-15k. Very few students actually got to know about these placement drives hence the placements weren't great also not many companies came on campus.
