Remarks :

I have chosen this course because I am interested in software development. The infrastructure, faculty, and course curriculum can be improved. College life, events and fests are amazing. Seniors here are helpful. The campus located at the outskirts of town, so you have a bit of connectivity issue. The college life is the liveliest.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Teachers here are helpful, qualified, and knowledgable. But the teaching quality can be improved. The course curriculum is average, it's not entirely obsolete nor it's entirely what it is needed. However, it is certainly better than some of the surrounding colleges.

Course Fees : INR 380000 per year

Placement Experience :

Almost 100% of the students get placed from our college. But there are some defaulters as there are in every college. The highest salary package offered this year was 42.5 LPA, and it was offered by Microsoft (but that was off-campus). On-campus, the highest salary package offered was 15 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was around 3.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was around 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies that visited our college are Turtlemint, Dell, Cognizant, Infosys, Tiger Analytics, and IBM. The highest salary package offered in the IT branch was 15 LPA. The lowest salary package offered in the IT branch was 3.5 LPA. The average salary package offered in the IT branch was 4.5 LPA. Many other companies also visited the campus for placements. Top 20 students from each branch get a chance to get an internship at Dell, and out of which only 40 students are selected.

College Events :

Facilities and infrastructure here are average and can be improved. There are lots of labs like digital signal processing lab, information security lab, etc. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. But the speed of Wi-Fi can be improved. The hostel is relevantly good. There is also a new hostel which is above average. The quality of the food served can be improved. There are single rooms, double-sharing rooms as well as triple-sharing rooms. There is a washing machine in each room. Lots of sports are played by different students of the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In this course students have to learn all the subjects for first two years. Hence they are open to all type of opportunities in future. Apart from pure sciences there are courses like computer data science and earth sciences. However the course is not industry oriented rather it is more research oriented.

Review regarding Nalanda Institute of Technology(NIT), Bhubaneswar

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements where they have to show their skills to the interviews in order to get placement. The name of the companies visited are Infosys, Oracle, Dalmia, Tata. The average package the companies give is around 3 to 4 lacs. My plan after getting the degree is to already settle by getting a placement.

Reality of GIFT college

Placement Experience:

Placements! Once upon a time in year 2016-17 Amazon, Oracle etc used to come... Now all are just less paying startups who select for 3,4,4.5 lpa on average Yeah some get 9-10lpa if they are really good, opportunities are always there for good students, but not more than this... If you're dreaming a 13,15,20,50lpa package, don't wake up, it's not possible in real life here (atleast till now)

NCERT is the educational wing of Indian and RIE's are supplementing it. Rie bhubaneswar is produces the future teacher, teacher educator as well as researchers in field of education. RIE Bhubaneswar has different courses like - Integrated 4 year B.Sc.B.ed / B.A B.ed / 2 year B.ed / 2 year M.ed / Counselling and Guidance course etc. Rie Bhubaneswar has various department like DESM / EDUCATION / SPORTS etc.This institute focuses in overall development of students in physically, mentally, psychologically etc. It provides equal opportunity to participate in various types of cocurricular activities. It is one of the best platform to learn.

This college provides a good environment for professional study. I got alloted to the college through my entrance mark so i chose it. It was my dream to study Electrical engineering but i didn't got the branch in any other college and i got the department over here so i thought it would be better to study here

Various companies visit our campus for recruitment. Among those companies the name of some big companies are TATA, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, JINDAL, LNT. For being able to sit in the interview for any campus a student must have scored a minimum of 7 cgpa and must have good communication skills. In my knowledge there is no big startup by our batch.

KIDS - An In-depth review

Remarks:

The college is one of the best private dental colleges in the East zone. The infrastructure is top notch and the practical labs are very well maintained and supplied. The social and hostel life is just fantastic. However the fees might be a bit too high for middle class students and the location might be a bit bad.
