Remarks :

College management is very nice since it is founded by honorable Mahalingam the management is currently run by Shankar junior chairman.

Entrance Preview :

I wrote TANCET in the year 2011.I chose Electronics and Communication Engineering branch for writting the exam and scored 45.7 in the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Embedded Systems is having high future scope.The course is well structured with 2 years duration.Many electives are given for students but we guys choose Intelligent control as one of the elective on 1st semester, then Industrial automation and control for 2nd semester and then finally VLSI Design for 3rd semester.

Internships Opportunities :

My college provided me the Internship in Robert Bosch which is the well known company for Automative field. They are the global leader in this field. During my final year they offered me the internship with an stipend of Rs.6500.

Placement Experience :

Placements are very nice during that days cognizant technology solutions(CTS), Payoda, Bosch were came to our campus.They recruited nearly 1500 students, Of which they offered packages of 3 to 4 lakhs per annum. These companies are top MNC's in the world where nearly 90 - 1 lakh employees working.

College Events :

Many events are organized by our college such as department symposium, Funded events in which Yugam is the top event the yugam is an inter college event where all the college students participate the students who are participating get cool Prizes and awards.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees structure is very feasible the fees structure is based on anna university terms and regulations for my course they charged only 27,500 as semester fees apart from this they charged caution deposit of 5000 rs, but this is an refundable amount only.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship facilities are very nice myself received the mahatma gandhi scholarship of Rs.10000 which is the proud and honorable scholarship in the college apart from this the college offering 1 lakh rs scholarship for Scheduled castes students.

Campus Life :

Our college consists of 60% males and 45% females ratio the college campus is nearly 450 acres on which well equipped laboratories for all the departments one of the college which is having Tiffac certified LABORATORY.Apart from this Entrepreneurship development ell, and then Incubator for new inventions where one needs to patent rights their products, etc.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities are very well equipped with AC the college offers only vegetarian since our trust comes under Ramalinga adigalar trust which is pure vegetarian they provide vegetarian for all the 7 days but myself is an day scholar i didn't chose the hostel facilities.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni network is Marvelous, since i am the Alumni of KCT, I am very proud of this network they network alumina's all over the world(for eg, USA, Russia,etc).Each year they conduct Alumni Functions for the out gones so to keep the passed out students in Network.

Exam Structure :

Exam structure is good for each semester we have write theory exam which has 6 subjects and one practical exam the exam system is based on cgpa of 10 out of 10 i had got 9.63 as cgpa if u failed in the exam then u have to write the are exam in the next semester.

Admission :

I have applied for Anna university counselling for selecting my M.E(Embedded Systems) post graduate degree during the year 2011.I have called for the Counselling which was scheduled on July month.I chose KCT for my M.E.Though many colleges are available but i chose kct since it is one of the good college with good placement records and well established campus.

Faculty :

The Faculties are well qualified and knowledged in their stream.My Embedded systems comes under Electrical and Electronics Engineering where Rani thotangal as the Head of the Department.All the faculties are very nice and supportive.They encouraged me do research.

The placements are so good after first semester based on the CGPA the companies will start recruiting in second semester. The highest package is 36LPA(including all benefits from company) and the average package is around 13 LPA. Why you should prefer IIT Madras over other IIT's for Mtech/Btech (CSE).

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cirriculum is perfect , machine learning is specialised here , course like Deep learning , PRML , linear algebra , AI offered here are best. Grade distribution is also fine here not as such burder , they give assignments and quizes.

IIT Madras Mtech CSE review

Placement Experience:

The placement process takes place in September and interviews are held in the first week of December. Placements are best in the country. The highest package this year was 1.2 cr domestic given by aphagrep to an Mtech cse. The average is around 30-35 lpa. Almost all students get placed.

I am pursuing ME computer science and engineering course from AVCE.It is a two-year duration course with 4 specializations. Candidates who have completed BE or B.Tech in relevant discipline are eligible to join ME course. Admission to ME program is given on the basis of GATE/ TANCET scores. I got selected on the basis of my GATE score.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very nice. They often organise on-campus placement drives. Companies like grassroots,intelenet, Revol Softwares, Aqua groups, IDBI etc visit the campus with good job opportunities.

IICPT review for MTech Course

Admission:

Admission is on the basis of IIFPT Post Graduate Entrance Examination. A merit list is prepared on the basis of the entrance exam scores and overall academic performance of the student. I always wanted to join the institute for a bachelor’s, but opting for the Food Tech trade was a last minute decision.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college is pretty decent. Many companies visited our campus this year compared to the previous batch. But still there is a lot of scope for improvement. The average salary package offered is around 3-4 LPA. There is a placement cell which deals with all the placement activities. Students have to search for internships on their own.
