I have applied for engineering counseling for the college and got this college. The college asks a minimum of 98.64 cut-offs. The college trust also keeps entrances for the students to give them scholarships. The process of treating the department-wise was slightly disappointing.

Cut off for general quota for cse is 192 and for bc is 189 . Admission is done every year through TNEA counseling and also management quota. Sports quota is available only for team sports and every year 15 students are given free education and hostel through this scheme. Admission can be improved through providing concession for talented students who join through counseling too

- Excellent environment for Study, KEC has been awarded for Green Campus by AICTE.
- Experienced and Interactive Faculties
- Students are encouraged to pursue their own interests.
- There are many co-curricular-oriented activities, in which you can participate.
- Choice-based credit system - You can choose your subjects across any branch of Engineering.
- The infrastructure of the institute is quite good. There are well-equipped labs, a huge auditorium.
- Good Placement Opportunities. In the 2020 placement drive, a total of 220 recruiting companies visited the campus and the median CTC offered was around 3 LPA.
- You will receive good support for sports and extracurricular activities.
Disadvantages:
