Remarks :

Because here the faculty is highily qualified to teach and cirrculum is also good enough. This college provide good campus life as it is fully residential. Thermal branch will give the solutions to many problems like alternating renewable energy to replace fossil fuels and provide comfortable life for humans by inventing AC and other equipments

Course Curriculum Overview :

Courses are very updated some subjects are not useful enough but some subjects like CFD make you industry ready. Curriculum is good enough. I didn't got any industrial exposure yet. All faculty of my department is highly skilled. A.Layek who is HOD of Mechanical department is very cool and you will love to attend his class

Course Fees : INR 172000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

No internships available for Thermal department.TATA Steel came but didn't shortlisted anyone.

Placement Experience :

Infosys offered system engineer with 3.6 LPA. TCS offered system engineer with 7.2 LPA. Oracle offered with 5LPA. LnT offered but didn't disclosed salary yet and recruitment process is going on

College Events :

This campus will provide a wonderful life.STROKES will organise many extracurricular activities like marathon race,pic competition. Here we celebrate Aarohan annually which is 3 days event which include Technical and cultural activities

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

MHRD scholarship which is 12400 per month, If you need moneyyou can avail study loan and use stipend for personal things

Campus Life :

Sports facilities are above average, you can take any sports equipment just by submiting your ID there. wi-fi speed is well enough, with lan you get upto 100mbps also and unlimited. Library is worst thing of this college and lab is second worst

Hostel Facilities :

I am allotted in hall 6, the rooms size is good for 1 member but unfortunately they allotted for 2 members. Hostel building is very good and it's location is such that near to main academic building, Ground, gym and North gate. The hostel fee is 1800 per semester which is fine

The curriculum is well developed and the major areas of learning are adequately addressed. It has prepared students for practice as well as for further education. I wanted to point at such aspects of teaching design that need to be developed : offerings of practical projects and a greater focus on interactive teaching methods. Their Teaching method is quite student friendly and Good.. They try their level best to make the students understand the concept in depth..
