Remarks :

Because it is one of the top 3 college of my state. Besides, it's a central government college, which means it has better infrastructure and better facilities as well. Also, the college is located on my state.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The teachers were quite good with their teaching methodology. Some of the teachers put quite an effort to give the best to the students. Besides giving theoretical knowledge, they focus more on providing practical knowledge to the students.

Class Size : 60

Placement Experience :

Being a civil engineering student, we can expect much placement opportunities from the college. But yeah, from the departments like electronic and communication, computer science, food engineering there's a quite good number of placement opportunities.

College Events :

It was great. We have two festival in a year. One is technical festival and the other is cultural. In the technical festival, students get a platform to show their skills and work in the technical field. In the cultural festival, students get a platform to showcase their talents in dancing, singing, dramas, instrumental, etc.

Campus Life :

To be honest it was quite good It was better than other colleges in the state. We have volleyball court, basketball court, tennis court and also a football field. We have one of the best library. It's a digital library.

NIT Silchar - Honest Review

Placement Experience:

The placements of this college were very good until last year but last year due to decline in tech jobs and the burst of the IT boom , the placements have declined to a significant amount and there is no hope of recovery anytime soon . As far as I have learned from my seniors, placements are not very satisfactory.

Entrance Preview:

IIT-JEE 2016 , AIR 6629 , IIT guwahati is a college. It has its name and fame. So i chose it because it has all the facilities like co curricular and has a beautiful campus to stay at.
