What you can expect if you study here

Remarks :

I was interested in studying food technology and I saw that this college provides this course. I enrolled in this college on 28 June 2017 after being selected through the entrance exam this college organizes every year. The biggest positive point of this institute, according to my opinion is that the students get a lot of freedom to figure themselves out, what they want to do with their life. The pressure of studies is very manageable, the faculty is very understanding and they genuinely want to help every student, no matter what your skill or intellect is, you are going to have no hard time fitting here. About negative points, the employment rate is very low, there is a lack of equipment in some labs and life here is not going to be very comfortable. The living conditions and the quality of food is quite poor.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Well, I thought this course would be easy to study for me because I like learning about food. Overall I am pretty satisfied with the faculty and their teaching. They try their best.

Placement Experience :

To my knowledge, I don't think any companies visit our college. The faculty do send students to certain companies they have connections in. And I have no idea about the placement percentage and average package. I have heard numbers being thrown away from others but I am not sure. As for me, I plan to study further after getting my degree. I am also working on my website makemefine.com. Do visit it if you like.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The cost of studying here is very low and they do provide a ton of scholarships to students based on various categories.

Campus Life :

There is techracy that is the technical fest and ecstasy that is annual fest. The library is one of the best aspects of the college. It has a ton of books for every branch. There also are a ton of clubs students can join. There is the robotics club, astrophysics club and a lot more.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are provided to those who need accommodation, students get a fan a bed, and a table in their room. There is supposed to be free WIFI, but the first two and a half years I lived there I didn't get any. And expecting good food in mess is not recommended, the food is just edible, nothing more. If you are trying to lose weight then this is the perfect place for you.

It's a fact that the Indian education system is not designed or promoted for skills sharing. But if you are in CIT the scenes are quite different. In CIT various seminars and programs related to a high balance between a curriculum and an industrial side

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have choose EE because it's have both core and it features so i believe that I will go for core but if the situation changes then accordingly i will shift. The curriculum is pretty good in this campus according to me that's why I have choose this course. I don't think I have enough thinking level to suggest about that. Before exam there should be some gap for studies purpose I mean to say classes should be off. And everything is good.

Placement Experience:

Placement drives are held in December of every year for the students who complete their 7th semester. Placements are quite good over here, The highest package this year is 2.4 crore and the average package fluctuates between 20 to 25 LPA every year. One can also go for higher studies, there is no harm.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My branch is Computer Science and Engineering. I am interested in computer skills like gaming, web development, coding, etc that's why I choose this course. In my college, every facility is provided like labs, sports ground and kits, medical facility, hostels and mess and, well educated and skilled faculty. Faculty : student ratio is around 1:50. Faculties are well experienced (Ph.D. holders) and have good teaching skills. But, I want to mention one thing that, you can't totally depend on the faculty, you need to pay extra effort by itself. B.Tech is of 4 years course that is divided into 8 semesters. Every semester 2 main exams are conducted. Exams are not much easy but also not too hard. You need to focus on academic too for decent pointers. If you are a sincere student then getting a good pointer is not hard.
