Remarks :

Make the environment more free and stop politics between the faculty, so that the collaboration betweem them give us the actual output for which the NITs were opened.

Entrance Preview :

I opted for M.Tech in Machine Design from Mechanical Engineering Department. The got admission on the basis on GATE (ME) exam, in which my GATE Score was 477 and AIR was 2823. I had the option of Thermal Engineering also in NIT as well as few other options, but I choose this as I want to the research in the area of Design.

Course Curriculum Overview :

As far as course curriculum was considered, it was very good. The courses of CAD, Adv Vibrations, App Numerical Analysis, CFD etc are very good if someone want to go for research in the design area.

Internships Opportunities :

For M.Tech there were not been any company came for internship, though a few from nanotechnology were successful to arrange the internship in research labs by themselves.

Placement Experience :

M.Tech were mostly been considered for teaching only though a few companies came like M&M, TCS, L&T etc and about 15-20 students from different specializations were placed.

College Events :

There were different activities takes place round a year in the campus, like the cultural fest confluence (also known as Conflu) and the techno-managerial fest techspardha (also known as Literati). Team from nothern india as well as from other NITs and IITs came there to participate and showed there talent.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Hostels were good and affordable (rent of just Rs 500 p.m.) though LAN with download speed upto 1.5 MBPS were available, but Wifi area was very limited (not in the hostels).Fooding was not upto the mark, being a member of Mess committee I tried alot for improving it, but not been successful.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Most of the loans and scholarship facilities were available for sc/st only. I was not being aware of any scholarship for General category students.

Campus Life :

Campus life was the one which could have been best for any collegiate.Lots of sports, extracurricular activities were held round the year in which students participate and recreated themselves.Technical events, cultural activities were also being held once in a month, and during cultural fest they were at the top i enjoyed alot during my course time gender ratio was about 1:2, boys being more.

Alumni/Alumna :

Its not as much as it would have been though in a year, a few news regarding the happenings were mailed, but its not good for an institution of national level status.

Faculty :

The faculty was above average but a few of them are not have the zeal and enthusiasm for giving the knowledge in a better and efficient way.

Placement Experience:

Placements service is not good at all . From my M.tech batch no student was hired because very less placements are coming in the college for hiring freshers. It is happening because a reason also there that market down of IT sector from last 2 years as of this reason, recruitments is very less.

Placement Experience:

Top recruiters include BHEL, DRDO, HONDA, Philips, NTPC, The Times of India, Tech Mahindra, Tech Mahindra, Airtel, and others. In our final placement programme, the highest salary offer was 10 LPA, with an average salary of 5 LPA. We had a separate internship cell as well as a task performance cell. All of our training helped us develop techniques, effective communication, management skills, and decision-making abilities, among other things.

Placement Experience:

The duration of this course is short (4sem )so you are eligible in 3rd SEM for placement. College invites many top companies or MNCs who recruit the students for internship like NIPPON PAINTS and BEEHYV SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS PVT ltd. ,CS ,EE ect. Package mainly provide average or higher it depends on the percentage of the students and the branch of the course. High - 13LPA and Average - 6LPA. More than 50% students will got internship in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course because of VLSI and the university's good name in Haryana. All faculty is quite good as all are mostly Ph.D. from IITs with good knowledge. Exams were on time according to the schedule calendar.

Admission:

Anybody can get admission in it as the seats are vacant. I took the admission after a month the classes start. They accept admission even after a semester is over. Student transfer is going on until the second year. No entrance test is required to get the admission.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is no fixed course curriculum and structure. Each can get it modified according to their own terms. Exams mostly organize on time but the result may get delayed. And no proper keeping of records there occurs lots of mistakes that sometimes difficult to recheck.
