Remarks :

I choose Jagannath Barooah College because it is best college in upper Assam. The college is affiliated by Dibrugarh University and located in Jorhat, the cultural city of Assam. Jagannath Barooah College received A grade by NAAC.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The quality of teaching is excellent. Professors and Assistant professors are of the first rate. The course syllabus is very good. It is prepared base on students interest and needs. Moreover the college adopted CBCS course which is freshly updated.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 8760 per year

Placement Experience :

The placement rate and Job opportunity's of our college is good but not better. In Jagannath Barooah College, campus interview was conducted for BSC students.

College Events :

good, associations are good atJagannath Barooah College. Main festival in campus is cultural programs, seminars and college weeks. But from last year our college started organizing a annual fest Anirvana. College life is awesome filled with joy and friendliness.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty member conducts class test at least twice in a month. Gives us an assignment for each subject . Also conducts sessional test per semester and all the questions based on the notes which they provided us. Also conducts final exam after evry six months.

• I had a great interest in field of media, I always loved talking and so I choose this exploring field of mass communication and I also applied for the same course in most of the colleges previously. • I must write this here that our department really has the most coolest and understanding faculties and the students, my super seniors, immediate seniors, juniors and my batchmates we all share a warm relationship and try to connect and together are a family away from home. • We have currently 5 faculties and each of them are expertise in their main subject and I would review the teaching method 4* out of 5 *. •Our Term exams were on time and mostly the theory papers are of 100 marks and practical ones 50 marks. Seriously you don't have to struggle if you are an average student but if you really want to score decent marks you need to study hard for that.
