Remarks :

Infrastructure is good. Hostel facility is quite nice compared to other colleges. Huge library. Professors are friendly. I opted CSE because in today's world computers are gonna play huge role and for.my aspiration in AI and machine learning.

Course Curriculum Overview :

IBM Course curriculum was followed during my period. It was quite strong and had many concepts which helped me to get a good job. Academic and faculty has always been there plus point. Faculties are academically involved with the students and apart from course they helped us with reasearch papers and other projects. Best faculty you can find in northeast

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 520000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I interned twice. Once in BSNl and once in HP. Both were unpaid internship and faculty helped me get them.

Placement Experience :

TCS, Patanjali, Intel, etc. There is a placement cell which helps you to get through the interview. They train you and provide extra classes for aptitude and reasoning and help build your resume. They have a Facebook page where they stay connected with the alumni for all kind of job availability and experience updates.

College Events :

Campus Life is quite happening. You can engage in sports activities, dance and singing activities. Art competition are organised frequently. Several NGO activities are also conducted. Hostel life is good as well. One can stay as involved as one desires to.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Each year the topper of the stream use to get 30% scholarship which I have availed throughout the course. Fees can be paid in installments. I have not availed any loans so not sure about that. But there must be some facility for that too.

Campus Life :

Sports- basketball court, football and cricket ground, badminton stadium, lawn tennis court is there for you to keep up with your practice along with coach. Gym facilities in girls as well as boys hostel is available. Other indoor games equipments like chess, table tennis, carrom etc are available in both boys and girls hostel. Hostel is equipped with 24/7 wifi connection. Library is quite huge and can accommodate around 300 students at a time. Computers are also available in library with wifi. You can carry your personal laptops as well. Labs are fully equipped for all streams. Chemistry, physics, communication, electrical, electronic, computer lab, workshop and lot of others are there with all the required equipment

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel had two kind of rooms, 2seater and 3 seater, with or without AC as per your choice. 24*7 wifi facility. Food was served as breakfast, lunch, snacks with tea, dinner. They have huge and different menu through out. Food is unlimited and no restriction on quantity. Quality of food is better in comparison to other hostels.

NIT Silchar - Honest Review

Placement Experience:

The placements of this college were very good until last year but last year due to decline in tech jobs and the burst of the IT boom , the placements have declined to a significant amount and there is no hope of recovery anytime soon . As far as I have learned from my seniors, placements are not very satisfactory.

Remarks:

Tezpur university is a central university, and every year in the university ranking report of overall india it performing the top and in the all asian region aswell. The campus is also really beautiful and as my nearer to the hometown i found this is the best for me. The teaching stuff is also good and after the completion of this we get the job aswell. So i found this course is helpful for me.

Placement opportunity a lot from the course for government job aswell as private sectors. Many of our alumni getting jobs in different platform, some of them are having research, P.Hd, some of them are doing their own firm, for the end last semester many of the NGO's companies visited offered us to getting internship and after the successful completion of it we will getting job.

Remarks:

College management is good and really helpful the mess food is not so good also that canteen in our college is so pathetic. the infrastructure of the college is really good and the teaching is also really good placement is patient or college need to work more on skill building of the weak students.

Admission:

For BTech we have to give JEE mains exams so according to ranks there will be admission in this college. There is no management quota or any other mode of admission in the BTech for MTech or PhD there is direct interview based admission. First we have to give the exam for JEE mains then we have to sit in the counselling for getting the seat in the college.
