Remarks :

I have given IIT-JAM ,TIFR and JEST in 2018 and doesn't get good ranks .In 2019 I know about CUCET . It was easy as compared to all above .I like most the natural environment of Central University Of Jharkhand(CUJ). This is a Central University and after looking the department , professors qualifications, and my interesting subjects in M.Sc. syllabus on CUJ website I decided to take admission here.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am in M.Sc. . Syllabus does not cover all topics of NET syllabus . For some subjects the syllabus is huge e.g. Quantum mechanics syllabus seems like two semester syllabus. Industrial exposure is negligible , but I have heard that students of Chinese language and MBA get placements. Hardly I have heard about other coarse students. Professors are highly qualified in physics department , some are good in teaching and some are not . I think Dr. Avijit Ghosh sir and our HOD Dr. Sarang Medhekar sir are very good teachers .

Class Size : 43Course Fees : INR 50000 per year

Placement Experience :

Some students got to higher studies. There is no proper placement in the university . Students apply for jobs and hugher studies . Any one wanted to get Ph.D. sits in entrances like JEST ,NET, GATE . Many go for government job exams. Some get succeed . In 2020 two students succeded in GATE .

College Events :

In campus besides studies there are many more things .We celebrate local festival like Karma Pooja etc. in addition to some big festivals like Holi, Deepawali, Basant Panchmi ( Saraswati Pooja) ,Sri Krishna Janmastmi etc. There is a university festival named Khelotsav which includes cultural and sports mainly. You can participate in sports of cricket, volleyball, basketball, kabaddi etc. and can participate in singing ,dancing ,mimicry, shayari, poems and many more.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I have not availed any scholarship yet. But GATE qualified M.Tech. students get fellowship . There is national fellowship for ST students also . National scolarships by different central governmental depatments are given to maritorious students . There are some states which also give sholarship to their students studying outside .

Campus Life :

As we are not in permanent campus yet ,many facilities are not to the level of universities. In the name of sport facilities we have a small ground for cricket ,football inside , a basketball ground, a volleyball ground. In sports complex there are gym, chess, carom and table tennis. There is badminton coart also . Campus has no Wi-Fi except in library. Library is a small two floor building like a house. Lab has not many instrumenta and some does not work properly.

Hostel Facilities :

I have opted for hostel. Hostel facilities are average . There are blocks named A,B,C . each having 25-40 rooms .In each room there are 2- 3 students. In giving hostels preference is given to students, who are far from home and it is cousewise . Which does not get hostel can stay outside in PG's. Room rent can range from 1500-2500 . For students outside Jharkhand hostel is easy to get ,but many students of Jharkhand also get hostels as hostel selection criteria looks coarse and distance from home both.

Hostel Fee : INR 25000 per year

After semester 3 in MCA students will eligible for the campus selection. Anu hav chakraborty sir is very helpful for the students. Wipro, TCS, Infosys like companies reached our college for the placement.

Students are eligible after 5th semester for placement. There are no good companies for the placements but satisfied with the placements. Highest package-4 Lowest package-2 80% of the students get placed. My plans are get master's degree of some reputated college which provides good placements.

AMITY - A perfect path providers for the tech beginners

Placement Experience:

As a student of the 4th year program, one can be eligible for placements after 6th sem or by passing 3rd year and after 4th sem/2nd year, students of 3rd year program are eligible for placement processes. almost 150 companies had visited this year and around 500 students are placed in many companies like cognizant, byjus, TCS, Deloitte etc. maximum package offered is 11 LPA and the average package is around 3.5-4 LPA. on a personal note, I want to pursue MTech after BTech, so for me, these placement record somehow not matters but if someone wants to go for higher studies, this college is best suited for them as because it provides all necessary things by which you can easily get into top IIITs.

Lots to learn

Admission:

eligibility: As I took a PG level course I had to appear for the NEET exam and score well in it. Also, you need graduation from a recognised medical college along with a work certificate from a completed internship.

Placement Experience:

BBMKU has a separate placement cell. They provide their assistance during the time of placement. The candidate also needs to have a good record in academics to secure a good position. A piece of detailed information regarding it is provided on the university?s official website.

The placement opportunities are favorable for professional courses. Therefore, there are no chances for general courses. The teachers somehow prepare the students for future and guide them with great knowledge.

Most affordable college for Agriculture

Placement Experience:

Students in 7th semester are provided industrial internships and the after 8th semester are eligible for campus placement. Companies like JSLPS, BRLPS, SYNGENTA, BAYER,etc come for campus placement. Highest package offered is of 4lkhs/annum. Very few companies come for placement. Because of all this, students prefer for preparing for government jobs and Bank exams. Around 5-10% students opt for capmus placement. My plans after getting degree is to prepare for JRF exam for admission in post graduation course.

Admission:

I got admission in this College through passing the entrance exam that was conducted by College in the months of July 2017 and exam results declared after 10 day of exam. In entrance exam total 100 questions,70 from physics section and 30 from mathematics.

Placement Experience:

The placement of Physics Department of St. XAVIER'S College ranchi is not very good but some companies like wipro, TCS etc comes every year. The tentative percentage of students placed every year from my college is approx 30% with average package 3.5 Lac

Remarks:

It's a great college in every field and everything which a student wanted and he gets it. Only some of the internal issues are there which the management or the college authorities should see them . As far as that concerns it's the best college.

Admission:

B.Tech applicants should have scored a minimum aggregate of 45% in 10+2 with Physics and Maths as compulsory and either one of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject as optional subjects. Students should have also qualified either a National/ State-level entrance test. Candidates who have not undertaken any of the afore-mentioned entrance tests are required to appear for the SBU Entrance Test in order to be considered eligible for admission. Selection for admission into B.Tech is done by SBU on the basis of merit in qualifying exam and entrance test score.
