Remarks :

I wanted to pursue engineering, and IITs are the best engineering colleges in the country. And if we consider the placements, IITs are already very well know for it. About IIT(BHU), this institute has a very vast campus, and Varanasi is a city of cultural heritage.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Although the course structure is not very updated, but the industrial exposure is amazing. The college provides amazing opportunities and companies themselves visit our campus for offering internships. About the faculties, I knew about them through one of my cousins, who graduated from the same college. So I knew that the faculties are amazing.

Internships Opportunities :

I interned at UrbanClap, my profile was business analysis. I was paid 24k per month.

Placement Experience :

This is the thing IIT(BHU) is famous for. The placements here are amazing, almost all the students who register for placements get placed in reputed firms by the end of the placement sessions. All the big companies like Google, Facebook, Amazon, etc, visit our campus for hiring.

College Events :

This is the most amazing part of IIT(BHU) is that, it has a lot to offer to a student. One not only gets good education here, but also gets an exposure of other extracurricular activities. There are three main fests in our college, Spardha(the sports fest), Technex( Asiaâ??s largest techno-management fest), Kashiyatra(the cultural festival). All of them are held in a very grand manner, and are attended by a huge number of students across the country.

Campus Life :

The campus is a huge lush green area of 2100 acres, that offers amazing sports facilities. We have all the sports. We have an amazing air conditioned library, and all the labs are well equipped. Apart from these, there are amazing eateries all around the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subject of Biotechnology is of great importance and is very new and interesting too. The subjects offered are relevant and insightful as they offer knowledge on all aspects of the field. The curriculum is in correspondence to the syllabus of entrance exams like GATE making the preparation easier. We have exams every 4 months. The schedule is decent but there are lesser gaps than required between exams. The practical exams are sometimes conducted in the gaps between the exams.

From seven-semester, the student is eligible for placement. Cognizant, Accenture, tcs, etc. The average package is 3 lakhs and 3.5 lakhs and the highest package will be 42 lakhs. 89% of students get placement. After getting the degree I will apply for CDS and other government jobs.
