Remarks :

If you're getting NIT SIKKIM, it's probably because you're no good to be in better NIT and have the last option but to stay here.so at my counselling it was the college I got through my obc rank which was around 28k

Course Curriculum Overview :

Faculties are knowledgeable and experienced in this branch. I rate very high to the likes of Panda sir, Debajit sir, surajit kundu sir, they all are go to man. Stay away from disease called DT. I meant Diphtheria and tetanus.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 620000 per year

Placement Experience :

Placements are not up to the mark.Very few companies visit. L&T took 2â??3 Bpcl 1 Denso Haryana 4 that's it. Most of these placement come from drive or pooling which is very hectic process to be honest, very less companies visit to college.

College Events :

Events are conducted. We practice for dance.there are also flashmobs organised in different areas.We get freshers party and also fests are organised yearly. Fests are quiet great and the night life is awesome.

Campus Life :

The current facilities of NIT Sikkim is not satisfactory. An institute of national importance is still fighting for very basic things like permanent campus, internet, labs,workshop. Often students have to go other institute for lab,workshop etc.The institute is progressing and will be a big name in coming days. The laboratories are under construction for Civil and Mechanical and maximum components are present here. The institute also has a Super Computer named Kanchenjunga.

Hostel Facilities :

They are quite good. The room is good. 3 or 4 students are currently allocated to a single room. And the hostel infrastructure good is quite good. You might not have any complaints regarding the hostels but sometimes there is unavailability of water but thatâ??s only sometimes and the situation has widely improved over the time.

My admission and life at SMIT

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active and well equipped to bring recruiters from diverse group of organisations. The pre final and final year students are allowed to sit for interview. The highlight this year for me was Mercedes Benz hiring a student from Mechanical Department giving a very high package. A good chunk of people get placed every year. I am also looking forward to placement opportunities on campus, I believe there'll be enough opportunities.

Reviewing Himalayan pharmacy institute

Placement Experience:

There is 100% placement in the college after completing Bpharm course. In 7th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Mankind, alkem, alembic, aristo, zuventus, cipla , these companies visit the college for on campus placement. There are approx 20 numbers of offers are provided from the industries. 90% of the students get placement. My plan after getting degree is to go for higher studies in the same field.

A short journey back to my Alma Mater

Course Curriculum Overview:

When pursuing my Bachelors degree i got to know more about the subject and got influenced to continue with the course. The course teaches us so many things about the Functioning, regulating, and embodiment of the government, which is intresting and helpful in day to day life. The study doesn't need any improvements rather it would be better the politicians who run our government should be exposed with the course's curriculum. Exam is held twice a year in Manipal excluding the internal exams and the weekly or monthly tests.

Placement Experience:

Students can undergo campus placements as soon as they get to learn softwares and prepare their portfolio which is mostly after 2nd year. Gold medal, haffele, eurotrend, Asian paints etc are the companies and firms . Mostly all he students are made up eligible for the placements depending on their decision and working ability.

Calming Life at SMIT

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester the students are eligible for campus placements opportunity. And the placement opportunity is above 95% . Various companies such as Dell, Infosys, Infotech, Wipro, Amazon, etc. come for placement and offer around 3.5 lakhs to 5 lakhs of packages to the students. The highest package offered for BCA students are 7 lakhs and average is 4.5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree is to get a join to get an experience and then pursue MBA or MCA.
