- The most impressive thing in my college I have seen is the teachers. Most of the teachers are yoo much knowledgeable with best teaching skills. They treats all the students like their children. Most of the teachers hold PHD degree .
- There are 4 degree courses the college offer ,these are Dpharm , Bpharm ,Mpharm and PHD . The hostel is also very disciplined. There are very cleaned rooms bigger sized rooms with balcony. 4 persons can stay in one room , 1st year to 4th year .
Dislikes
- Another thing I have disliked in my college is the outing system. There are particular outing schedule for the boys and girls . Even dates are for boys and odd dates are for girls . And outing time is also too less ,til 6 pm only .
Course Curriculum Overview :
Yes, the teachers help in choosing the career after completion of the course. The important thing is the pharmaceutical industry. The teachers help in choosing the best industries. They help in project works, and practicals, in a higher frequency of exams, are conducted. There are four exams for diploma students. Three sessional exams and one final exam. The semester exams for Bpharm students are taken very rapidly.
Internships Opportunities :
If any student completes dpharm then he or she has to complete 3 months of hospital training in the hospital pharmacy where the student has to dispense the prescribed medications, inventory control, store management, etc. Then the student has to go for a day industry visit. There is no stipend during the internship. If the student is pursuing Bpharm then he has to go for industrial training, 1 month of hospital training, etc.
Placement Experience :
There is 100% placement in the college after completing Bpharm course. In 7th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Mankind, alkem, alembic, aristo, zuventus, cipla , these companies visit the college for on campus placement. There are approx 20 numbers of offers are provided from the industries. 90% of the students get placement. My plan after getting degree is to go for higher studies in the same field.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total course fee for dpharm in my time was 250000 but now I think it is around 3lakhs 20 thousand. For Bpharm the course fee is around 7 lakhs including tution fees, service charges, and other compulsory charges. There are on-campus placements in many reputed pharmaceutical industries of india with 3 to 4 lakhs per annum salary. Job roles like quality analyst, quality control officer, and production officer in various departments.
Campus Life :
The campus and social life of the college is very beautiful. There is a projector in every classroom for teaching the students with the help of ppt or slides. Football, cricket, volleyball, badminton, kho kho, pubG, and mobile legends tournaments are conducted two times a year. The practical labs are filled with modern equipment to help the students to gain their knowledge easily. There are no club and student portals but there is a gym room with many equipment in both boy's and girl's hostels. The library is full of a recent edition of books and there is a particular study room for girls and boys.
Hostel Facilities :
There is a three floored hostel . There is particular building for girls and boys hostel. The girl's hostel is located near the college and the boys hostel is far from the college with the distance of 500 meters. The quality of meal is bad but you can adjust. The menu of the hostel is following On Sunday there is mixed veg On Monday there is soyabin curry and pakora On Tuesday there is boiled egg On Wednesday there is fish curry On Thursday there is egg curry On Friday there is chicken curry On Saturday there is egg omlette. There is particular facility for both veg and non veg. The rooms are too bigger in size . 4 persons stay in one room as a sequence of 1st year to 4th year. There is two fans and bulbs . You can use the electricity in your wish. 3000 rs of security money is deposited before the entry in the hostel. 24*7*365 water facility is provided. There is no need to pay extra hostel fees . You have to just pay the mess bill which is around 3000 per month.they provide
Admission :
The eligibility of the pharmacy courses is the following, the student should pass 10+2 with Math or Biology, Physics, and Chemistry above 60% marks. The addmission process is very simple. At first, the student has to enter the official website of the college. Then he or she has to take the number of the director of the college and then you have to call the director. He will tell them to send the marksheets of the student and then if the student is eligible the director will provide account details. Then you have to pay the addmission fees for seat booking. Then they will provide a particular date for document verification, that day the student will enter the college and hostel. Then the next day, the class will start. If the admission process is online then it will be very helpful to every student and it will be very fast. The exams are taken in a gap of 2 months. if the student studies then the exam is not difficult for every patient. There is no reservation quota for admission.
Faculty :
The faculty members are very interested and very good. They taughts the things by making them easy to understand. They take exam after completing of every chapter of every subject . There is synopsis in practical classes.they make sure whether the students have understood or not . If any students miss any class the teachers give punishment to him .they conduct extra classes. The teachers helps the student in developing problem solving skills in case of pharmacy competative exams
