Remarks :

Best infrastructure in the city, probably around the state in the computer science field. The facility this institute provides to its students in the CS field is very appreciable and best of its kind. So if you are interested in doing research in this field, be part of this institute

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is very flexible. The curriculum is heavily focused on the research just like as any other PhD program. Field work very important in the PhD to collect data and work on a original research problem and add new knowledge in the existing literature. To get your PhD degree, you have to submit an thesis , free of plagiarism and you have to defend it in front of your judging panel.

Placement Experience :

The institute does provide internship for UG and PG programs. It is a mandatory for them. however, this is not the rule for the PhD students as they are already busy with their research and field work. But PhD are free to do internship or work on a project with any research institute related to their own Phd research work.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure of this institute for PhD is not feasible for everyone regardless of the program you are. The total fee for one year is around 1.1 lacs, which is expensive for many people. But you can get scholarship if score well in UGC NET-JRF exam

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I don?t about the other programs but PhD gets monthly stipend as per UGC norms. if you have passed the UGC NET-JRF, then you will get monthly stipend of around 32000/- with living and other allowances by the UGC. There are many scholarship for PhD students provided by many institutes.

Campus Life :

The college has others extracurricular activities also.. fresher party by seniors then we do celebrates teacher days and others. Convocation ceremony and farewell party for the graduating students also organized by the institute. They are various clubs for students from literacy club to coding clubs, this clubs frequently take part in various national and state level competiton

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel has decent infrastructure. Hostel also have wifi. For research student PhD and Mphil, only one student will be in one room. Rooms are pretty spacious and ventilated. Some rooms have attached Bathrooms. Students have their own almirah, study table etc. The food is good enough to keep you alive. The total fee per year is around 35k

Admission :

The admission process is just like any other major institute. You have to pass an entrance exam for PhD in this institute. for PhD , after entrance exam , you have to go through an interview to get the admission in the institute. if you have cleared UGC-NET exam then you will get additional point for it which would help in the merit list.

Faculty :

All the faculty members are well qualified and experienced for their jobs. You can approach any professors to solve your doubts. They all are very helpful and well experienced and will provide you valuable guidance to complete your PhD. So feel free to approach them despite whether they are your supervisor or not.

Good Engineering Colleges in Pune with Good Placements and Average CET Cut-Offs

Placement Experience:

On-campus placements are available at this college, but only mass recruitment companies come here, offering salaries between 1.6 LPA to 4.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, and IBM visit every year. However, the TNP officers are not good at their jobs. Some students who are TNP coordinators receive special opportunities in placements. The IT department has more placements than the CS department, with almost 50% of students getting placed. On the other hand, in the CS department, only 30% of students get placed, and other departments do not have good placement opportunities. The average package is nearly 3 LPA, and the highest package is 7 LPA, offered by TCS. The placement information published on the college website and in the brochure is completely wrong and misleading. Some off-campus placement statistics are included in it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course which I have taken is electronics and telecommunication which is considered to be the toughest course . I took this course as I wanted a balance between my coding journey and also due to my love in electronics . Although the course is easier to understand, there are few courses which are outdated and can be updated with the current situations and scenario. Sometimes I feel that the time given to study for exams is less but again it's on the student and how he / she pays attention.

Admission:

I chose this college owing to the name it has garnered from the 55 years of experience in the field. The admission is done offline. The application form received along with the prospectus needs to be filled and submitted along with the necessary documents. The MH CET for Law score is important and is considered for admission. The admission process is based on merit. They expect a 45% mark at the graduate level at the least to seek admission

Placement Experience:

The placement cell allows the students to connect with some of the major law firms, HR Personnel of reputed companies and BPO firms as well as recruitment agencies. They also provide career guidance which is of great help to the students. The university also has well qualified alumnus who provides the students with opportunities in their firms.

Admissions are made on the basis of MH-CET-Law score followed by counselling conducted by DTE, Maharashtra. Minimum eligibility for LLB is a graduation degree from any recognized university. Total number of seats are 80.

Placement Experience:

The placements are not that good as compared to other universities. Kpmg and other companies come every year but recruits only a fraction of students and that too at a very low package which is around INR 35,000 per month. However, internship opportunities are provided.

Students seeking admission to 2 years Full-time M.Pharm program should have secured 60% in B.Pharm from recognized University. The student must qualify one of the entrance tests - GPAT/PGET, on the basis these tests student is selected by the university.

The college does not provide placements in our course. The college provides a one-year compulsory internship in college hospital, which is approved by the medical council of India. Several CROs associated with pharma companies recruit Pharma.D For research purposes.
