Course Curriculum Overview
The course has a detailed approach and manages to cover most of the necessary topics. The detailed SEM wise syllabus is available at the website for reference. They also have moot court and pretrial preparations as part of the final paper to provide us with practical experience. The exams are conducted strictly adhering to the schedule and the portions are all covered beforehand. So the students are left with ample time to prepare and there is no tension as such when the exams approach.
Placement Experience
The placement cell allows the students to connect with some of the major law firms, HR Personnel of reputed companies and BPO firms as well as recruitment agencies. They also provide career guidance which is of great help to the students. The university also has well qualified alumnus who provides the students with opportunities in their firms.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite feasible. The total fees for the program will amount max upto Rs. 6000. The first year fees would be 1500, second year fees would be 2000 and the fees for third year amounts to 2500. I found it quite affordable and not at all unreasonable.
Campus Life
We are encouraged to indulge in extracurricular activities at the university. We have celebrated yoga day and conducted tree plantation programs. On the academic level, we from time to time get to attend interesting lectures from professionals. Student meets are also held from periodically where they can present their views and feedback
Admission
I chose this college owing to the name it has garnered from the 55 years of experience in the field. The admission is done offline. The application form received along with the prospectus needs to be filled and submitted along with the necessary documents. The MH CET for Law score is important and is considered for admission. The admission process is based on merit. They expect a 45% mark at the graduate level at the least to seek admission
Faculty
We were blessed with a set of highly experienced and qualified teachers. I guess Mangala mam would be the most experienced. She has been working for 32 years in the field. The knowledge imparted from such professionals were invaluable and guides me in my professional as well as personal life. For those of us who suffered with the English language, we were given special trainings to improve. We were also made to practice and work on our knowledge and skills which has helped us grow in our profession.
