Durga's Review On Indian Institute Of Information Technology - [IIIT], Pune

Course Curriculum Overview :

ECE is the core branch of IIIT Pune and focuses on VLSI, Communication engineering, robotics and many more (Visit the official website for detailed info) The course lasts for 4 years or 8 semesters where we acquire detailed knowledge about this branch of engineering. JEE Mains has fixed exam structure and it does not change every year like JEE Advanced, the paper is for 3 hours in which a candidate has to answer 30 multiple choice questions in each of these subjects- Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

Placement Experience :

The internship rate of the college goes up-to 100%, the faculty puts a lot of hard work in training us for the internships by providing adequate knowledge and enhancing our communication skills. I did an internship in TCL Innovation Lab which was a great place to put my knowledge and enhance it by the guidance of my seniors. The company paid me 10,000 INR per month. (I learnt Coding and programming as a hobby which helped me in getting that internship) Prestigious organisations come for recruiting the students, the stipend hikes up to 22 Lakh p.a.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The total fee for my course is approximately 5.50 Lakh. I personally find it quite affordable as the hostel fee and the monthly requirements are quite low. Also, the college provides every facility for the comfort of its students, so it is worthy. (The fees for SC/ST and OBC is a bit different from the General)

Campus Life :

The college has many societies to feature your talent, a huge hostel campus to take a walk or go for a run and a beautiful cafeteria where we hangout all the time. There are many fests that release the tension and gives us a needed break from the classes.

Admission :

Admission for B.Tech course is based on the marks obtained in JEE Mains. After filling an application form and scoring good marks in JEE mains, I got to know that I have a chance to get into IIT Pune. JOSAA counselling is the last and crucial admission process that aspiring candidates will have to go through. The syllabus for JEE is- Mathematics Physics Chemistry

Faculty :

They say this college is for the finest as it is mentored by the finest. The faculty is dedicated to its student, the professors are understanding and do their best for our learning. The faculty arranges a lot of guest lectures and practicals held to enhance our knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course Structure at SLRTCE is well structured and covering core electronics and computer science concepts, but it could include more industry oriented skills and emerging technology. It provides good foundation for real world applications and higher studies exams held twice per semester and updates to the curriculum and interactive teaching methods would further improve it's relevance and effectiveness.

I choose this course because I have interest in that particular field and I like to do that course related experiments . The Indian government should develop many companies for ENTC students so that they can get placed at large number.

Remarks:

It's a indeed a good college just have some problems of having two campuses and moving from one campus to another campus is very tidious during summers. And this college established in 1880s so there is some old buildings you can see too in campus.
