Remarks :

The college has been acted as a game changer in the textile industry as it provides efficient Human Resource to the industry. It works on the overall development of the students. Overall it is a great college

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college has well planned and executed the course structure for four years. It offers three specialisations namely footwear design and production, fashion design and leather goods and accessories design.

Placement Experience :

The college has a good record for placements. Some students also go for off campus placements which are really good. But the companies which are visiting the campus are Hidesign, aditya birla, decathlon, cartlon london etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is a bit on the higher side but it offers a lot of opportunities which is worth the money we are paying. The total amount which is to be paid is ? 6,23,000. It can be across all the eight semesters.

Campus Life :

The college organises inter college and inter class design competitions. It conducts knowledge festival every year. It also conducts seminar by all India rubber industries association. It also invites industry experts to deliver talks.

Admission :

The college has an eligibility criteria where are students are supposed to pass the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50%. The students are selected on the basis of entrance examination which is AIST

Faculty :

The faculty members are highly interested in shaping our futures. They guide us throughout the course. They provide their valuable insights in providing us extraordinary experiences about the designing industry.

Overall a Standard College; have parallels to its parent college FIEM

Placement Experience:

At the end of the 6th Semester many MNCs and startups like CTS, TCS, Virtusa, Wipro, etc visit our campus for internship opportunities as well as pre-placement offers. Most of the students do crack some or other internship opportunities and get in-hand industry experience. For our batch the highest offer we received is 7LPA and the average package ranges at about 4.5 - 3.5LPA ! Almost everyone does get placed, but the average ranges at about 70%-80%.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements after the 2nd Semester. HCL, OYO, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Dabur, ITC, BYJUs, etc. are brands that visit our college. The highest package was offered 9 LPA by OYO and the average package is somewhat around 4.5LPA. 80% of students are able to crack placements from our college. I am actually looking for an FMCG company after the degree from campus placements.

Remarks:

The college is a very old and well known one in West Bengal and being a part of the university has helped me learn the reason behind it. The staff and faculties of the college are so helpful and nice that it would be dream to a part of this institution.

Admission:

For the admission process I had to register on the official website and then check out the details of the course along with the eligibility criteria and the fee structure. After this I filled in my details and got a registration number and password through which I could log in and fill up the application form and make the application fee payment along with the first course fee.
