Note: A candidate who has appeared for any examination whose result has not been declared at the time of admission, shall be eligible to apply for admission to the Master’s Programmes and if selected the candidate need to submit the result by September 30 of the admission year. Such candidates have to produce proof of appearing the examination during the Counseling process at FDDI.

Candidates seeking admission in the institute must fulfill the eligibility criteria for the respective course. Listed below are the steps that need to be followed for admission:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the institute and go to the ‘Admissions’ tab.
Step 2: Click on ‘Apply Online’ and register yourself.
Step 3: Read the instructions before filling the application form.
Step 4: Fill the application form and upload a recent passport size photograph and scanned signature.
Step 5: Pay the application fee of INR 600 (General/OBC (Non-Creamy)/GEN-EWS Category) and INR 300 (SC/ST/PWD Category) by Credit/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.
Selection Criteria
For admission in B.Des valid UCEED score is accepted. Students with valid UCEED will be exempted from AIST. For admission in BBA, M.Des and MBA students with a valid scorecard of All India Selection Test (AIST) can have admission to the course exam which will be followed by counseling. However, students with a valid MAT score are eligible for admission in MBA and will be exempted from AIST.

The Institute conducts a centralized placement drive at the campus for the students enrolled in various programs. It invites various reputed and multinational companies from Footwear, Leather and Retail Industry for placement drive. International companies like Uniqlo, PUCA Shoes, Apparel Group, Zomato, Blacberry, Dixcy Textiles, H&M visited the campus for recruitments.
A total of 120 major recruiters have visited the campus and 83% of the students have been placed on the institute’s campuses. The placement cell plays a major role in counseling and guiding the students. The cell also organizes pre-placement activities like mock interviews, conferences, expert talks, seminars, etc.

Ques. Does FDDI offer scholarships?
Ans. Students can apply for scholarships offered by government agencies as per their processes and eligibility criteria. FDDI does not offer any scholarship of its own. The institute only facilitates the process by processing/forwarding scholarship applications of eligible students as per defined criteria.
Ques. What is the age limit to apply for admission?
Ans. The age limit to apply for admission in UG program is 25 years and no age limit to apply for admission in PG program.
Ques. Can I choose the city for giving the entrance exam as per my preference?
Ans. Yes, you can choose the city based on your choice. All the eligible candidates will have to appear for the written entrance examination at the Examination Centres opted by them. The written entrance examination is designed to test the knowledge, skill and aptitude of the candidates for the program opted.
Ques. How can I download the admit card?
Ans. Candidates can download the admit card from the official website of the college. Admit cards will not be sent by post. Candidates are advised to regularly check the FDDI Noida website for updates.
Ques. What is the admission criteria for NRI category candidates?
Ans. 10% seats are reserved in each program for NRI/ Industry Sponsored candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. The candidates will get interviewed and the selection shall be done on merit basis.

College is soo good. The faculty is nice and the way the teaching is excellent. They organize so many events for students to showcase their talent. The faculty is so cooperative. This institute is best for leather designing.
The college offers the course in fashion merchandising. The courses are BBA, MBA, B.Des, etc. The curriculum is quite innovative and has lot to learn. The various subjects help to understand better and learn more.
the syllabus of course is unique and up to the date, they teach us about the mall management, Franchising, luxury retailing, Human resource management, Visual Merchandising, the industry exposure is enough. they take us to the indusrty visit to malls, stores. they also takes us to delhi hall and sabdarjung fort.
the course syllabus is quite intresting and unique alll the subjects are intresting. thr faculty are also good in teaching and they also have a good experience in their field. shweta mam has great knowledge on the window designing and store desining. Kothari sir has a great knowledge of the retail research and sites selection and accountacy.
The syllabus feels a little bit traditional but teachers are able to explain it in a very modern way and with good relevant examples usually. If you talk about faculties, few of them are really good & they would make you fall in love with the subjects. If you talk about industrial exposure it is not up to the level.
B. Des fashion desing is a professional fashion course which has the duration of 4 years and follows semester system. The course structure is good and focuses on creative knowledge and practical implications. The days are chilled but exmas are tiring.
The curriculum of this course first focuses on clearing the basics and then going to higher knowledge. It is organized in such a way that it develops the potential like a designer and improve fashion taste. It is more of like combination of theories, practicals and a lot of assignments.
The course curriculum for this course, is well-organized and properly designed so that students can have global knowledge of many other fashion sectors and able to combine them with indigenous society. We have 2 semesters for 4 consecutive years.
The master's course of foot design and production is a 2-year program which focuses on the in-depth education about footwear manufacturing, marketing, designing, and other aspects of footwear design and production along with the course studies there is also research-based study that is encouraged in the program.
The course of Bachelor in design in footwear design and production contains subjects such as design foundation, product knowledge, and also helps students develop their personality. The final year helps the students to realize their specialization and the career path that they would like to follow.
