Entrance Preview :
AIEEE rank-11000, UPTU rank-2000, GATE 95 percentile. I didn't attend AIEEE council because I thought I'll not get CS branch in good college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It was good. I'm done B.Tech and M.Tech both in CS. Curriculum was really good, it covered all CS major subjects with good practicals. In elective subjects I choose Entrepreneur over IT in Business.
Internships Opportunities :
In B.Tech, I did internship at IIT-Kanpur where I join a .Net course conducted by hp, it was a 40 days course. In M.Tech I got selected by Intel India for full time internship for one year, July 2010 to July 2011.
Placement Experience :
In B.Tech major companies were TCS, Wipro, Infosys average package was 3.6 lap. Out of 120 students around 90 students got offers.
College Events :
In B.Tech. cultural event was major. Technical events was on lesser scale. Some times inter college competitions for sports (Cricket and Basketball) also organized.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Its very very expensive now. In B.Tech each sam they charged around 35000 (2005-2009) but now its around 120000. Also hostel fees is very expensive, I don't remember exact. For M.Tech each sam is around 60000 and hostel and mess fees are also reasonable.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No, In my college there was no such facility. I myself taken education loan from Syndicate bank on behalf of my father's farming land.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni network should be very strong to guide colleges so that students can get maximum benefit of that and same for sr. students. They have practical knowledge and can guide in better way.
Exam Structure :
Exams and internals were very strict in both B.Tech and M.Tech. Practicals in B.Tech was not given so much importance as compared to M.Tech.
Faculty :
Faculty was not good in all subjects as it should be. Few faculties were really good but for few subjects it was not really good. I don't find a full Phd faculty throughout my course.
