Remarks :

IIT Patna is among the top engineering college in India and the faculty standards of the college are very high. The college has very good placement standards and why I choose IIT Patna because of its placement quality. I got selected on behalf of my academic score and GATE score and attended GD and PI round on the college campus. I was also able to clear these rounds and was allowed admission to the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My interest was in coding that is why I completed my B.Tech program from CSE background and the curriculum of the college very interesting and very intense. The curriculum mainly focuses on coding and the coding faculty and culture of IIT Patna are very good. The faculty of the college is highly qualified and experienced. The faculty are highly knowledgeable in their respective field, especially the coding ones. The faculty of the college is of PhD level and help us to understand every topic in a very simple and easy way.

Class Size : 56Course Fees : INR 45000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The college has a very good internship program and we get an opportunity to complete our internship with companies like Google, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra. The average stipend for an internship is around 85k.

Placement Experience :

The placement of the college is without a doubt one of the best in the industry. Placement of the college also was one of the reasons I choose IIT Patna. The college manages to reach a record of 100% placement. The highest placement offer was 58 LPA and the college's average placement offer is around 18 LPA which is a very good return on investment. Through the college placement drive, we get an opportunity to be part of companies such as Microsoft, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, L&T, Oracle, Sony, Adobe and many more.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college has many scholarship schemes such as Merit-cum-Means Scholarships for UG and MSc, Scholarship For Gen/OBC, Scholarship For SC/ST, Top Class Scheme for SC, Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme for RPF/RPSF, Post-matric Scholarship for Disable. The college complete M.Tech program fee is around 90000 which is very affordable and the education quality of the college is very high and the average placement offer of the college reaches up to 18 LPA which very high return on investment.

Campus Life :

The college campus life is wonderful. We get ample opportunities for research and project work. The college library consists of all types of bestsellers authors' books from all around the world and many books related to our domain is also available. The cultural fest of the college is CELESTA and the college also organises the technical fest which is known as INFINITO where we get an opportunity to show our coding and innovative skills. The college labs are high-end and equipped with all kinds of modern facilities.

Placement Experience:

3rd semester student in case of pget and 7th semester student in case of get are eligible to college placement. Some 3rd year student also got internship. Company like mahindra and mahindra, alstrom, ZF group, Cummins India, Jindal stainless steel, TCE, L&T, L&T edu etc in mechanical. Highest package is around 13 lakhs and average package around 7 lakh in pget mechanical courses. 40% in case of pget mechanical. PhD after completing master degree.

NIT Patna; College of our dreams

Placement Experience:

Placement is good at graduation level, fir masters it is slightly less but it give placement opportunity for around 25-30% students. L&T, EIL, BPCL etc visit for campus placement. In Civil engineering highest package is around 16-18 lakhs. My plan is for research after doing my masters.

To be honest, I was surprised to see such amazing placement packages from IIT Patna; it well exceeded my expectations; the best package for our batch was 40 LPA, with the average package being around 20 LPA. To be honest, IIT Patna offers the finest return on investment; it is worthwhile to be a part of IIT Patna. During the college's placement drive, companies such as BSNL, NTPC, Hyundai Motors, Microsoft, Google, Infosys, and Wipro visited the campus. The college placement drive attracts about 11 companies.

The college has a record of 100% placement. the placement record was one of the main reasons that I choose to be part of NIT Patna. The college placement committee is very professional and very supportive for students. The committee guides the students during the placement. The highest package for our batch went up to 15 LPA and the average package was around 10 LPA. Companies like HDFC Bank, Bharat Petroleum, Microsoft, Samsung, SAP Labs, Infosys, Wipro, Oracle, Microsoft, IBM, TCS, L&T, etc visited the campus during the college placement drive. I also received a package of 12 LPA from Wipro which was a dream come true and all thanks to NIT Patna.

The Best in the city

Entrance Preview:

I got admission here on basis of my GATE score. I scored 33 marks in GATE and I got a chance to get geotechnical CIVIL Engineering in this college. I chose this course as I have a deep interest in this field and also I have a keen interest in teaching.

Placement Experience:

Placement is pretty good for civil here as compared to other NITs because the level of education I think is bit higher in this college. There are a lot of people who underestimate this college being situated in a poor state but thats not true, its a very rapid growing area now and placements are reallly good.
