Sambhav's Review On Nilamber Pitamber University - [NPU], Palamu

Course Curriculum Overview :

The complete course is of two years and as there are two semesters in a year, we have a total of four semesters and we have numerous tests conducted frequently and the examinations were held only at the end of the semester.

Placement Experience :

We are offered great placement opportunities and they offer good stipend amount and the selection of the students is 80% on the basis of the interview given by the students and 20% on the basis of the academics of the student.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure for all the courses are quite feasible and even though the fee is less, there isn't any degradation in the quality of education provided to us and there is total transparency in the fee structure on the website and no kind of capitation fee is asked.

Campus Life :

We have a lot of events organised at our college like, cultural fests, inter-college competitions, exhibitions, sports tournaments, seminars, webinars, etc. These events are organised by the students under the guidance of the teachers.

Admission :

To get admission in this college, I had to first fill the application form and then I submitted the marks scored in the bachelor degree after which the selected students were called for an interview .

Faculty :

We have amazing teachers helping us recognise our potential and teaching us to use that potential to succeed in the career we opted, they being well versed in the subjects they teach, they teach us very well.

Placement Experience:

As a student of the 4th year program, one can be eligible for placements after 6th sem or by passing 3rd year and after 4th sem/2nd year, students of 3rd year program are eligible for placement processes. almost 150 companies had visited this year and around 500 students are placed in many companies like cognizant, byjus, TCS, Deloitte etc. maximum package offered is 11 LPA and the average package is around 3.5-4 LPA. on a personal note, I want to pursue MTech after BTech, so for me, these placement record somehow not matters but if someone wants to go for higher studies, this college is best suited for them as because it provides all necessary things by which you can easily get into top IIITs.

Admission:

eligibility: As I took a PG level course I had to appear for the NEET exam and score well in it. Also, you need graduation from a recognised medical college along with a work certificate from a completed internship.

Placement Experience:

BBMKU has a separate placement cell. They provide their assistance during the time of placement. The candidate also needs to have a good record in academics to secure a good position. A piece of detailed information regarding it is provided on the university?s official website.

Admission:

For graduation course like mine, 10+2 result as well as 10th result is given prime importance. The students must have qualified both the classes with great results. I had 89% marks in 10+2 which easily offered me seat in B.A.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are favorable for professional courses. Therefore, there are no chances for general courses. The teachers somehow prepare the students for future and guide them with great knowledge.

Placement Experience:

Students in 7th semester are provided industrial internships and the after 8th semester are eligible for campus placement. Companies like JSLPS, BRLPS, SYNGENTA, BAYER,etc come for campus placement. Highest package offered is of 4lkhs/annum. Very few companies come for placement. Because of all this, students prefer for preparing for government jobs and Bank exams. Around 5-10% students opt for capmus placement. My plans after getting degree is to prepare for JRF exam for admission in post graduation course.

Remarks:

It's a great college in every field and everything which a student wanted and he gets it. Only some of the internal issues are there which the management or the college authorities should see them . As far as that concerns it's the best college.

Admission:

B.Tech applicants should have scored a minimum aggregate of 45% in 10+2 with Physics and Maths as compulsory and either one of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject as optional subjects. Students should have also qualified either a National/ State-level entrance test. Candidates who have not undertaken any of the afore-mentioned entrance tests are required to appear for the SBU Entrance Test in order to be considered eligible for admission. Selection for admission into B.Tech is done by SBU on the basis of merit in qualifying exam and entrance test score.
