Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum at SRM University Sikkim is good with a good balance between theory and practical skills. The course curriculum helped me in developing myself to best of my abilities to suit the job market.

Placement Experience :

SRM University Sikkim's placement record has been good for the past few years. The placement cell strives to have good institution and industry interaction so as to provide greater job opportunities to the students. There are plenty of opportunities given to enhance skills and also provided good internships with stipend. HDFC Bank, ICICI bank, Mercedes Benz etc. are some of the recruiters.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure for MBA from SRM Univeristy Sikkim is feasible. The semester fee for MBA at SRM University is Rs 66,500. And per anum the fee for MBA is Rs.1,30,000. And for the entire course, that is, for two years of MBA the fee comes around 2.6 lacs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

SRM University Sikkim offers three kinds of scholarships to its students. The Founder's Scholarship, Sikkim Native scholarship and Employ ward scholarship. Topper from who had hundred percent fee waiver and those who had fifty percent fee waiver get the Founder's scholarship.

Campus Life :

In SRM University Sikkim, for students interested in outdoors sports like cricket, badminton, football etc the college provides plenty of facilities like good playing ground and gears. For indoor games like table tennis, chess etc. the college has great infrastructure for indoor games. The student crowd is very diverse and the university provides a safe environment for all. The campus life is enjoyable.

Admission :

SRM University Sikkim was established in 2013. It came into being through The Shri Ramasamy Memorial University, Sikkim Act, 2013 and offers multiple courses in different fields. The eligibility criteria for MBA is valid score in CAT, MAT,CMAT, GMAT or SRMJEEM. (any one of the mentioned exams)

Faculty :

The faculty at SRM University Sikkim is very knowledgeable and amicable. The professors were always up for helping students. They tried making the lectures informative and focused on practical knowledge. Majority of the faculty is experienced but a few of them are freshers.

My admission and life at SMIT

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active and well equipped to bring recruiters from diverse group of organisations. The pre final and final year students are allowed to sit for interview. The highlight this year for me was Mercedes Benz hiring a student from Mechanical Department giving a very high package. A good chunk of people get placed every year. I am also looking forward to placement opportunities on campus, I believe there'll be enough opportunities.

Placement Experience:

There is 100% placement in the college after completing Bpharm course. In 7th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Mankind, alkem, alembic, aristo, zuventus, cipla , these companies visit the college for on campus placement. There are approx 20 numbers of offers are provided from the industries. 90% of the students get placement. My plan after getting degree is to go for higher studies in the same field.

A short journey back to my Alma Mater

Course Curriculum Overview:

When pursuing my Bachelors degree i got to know more about the subject and got influenced to continue with the course. The course teaches us so many things about the Functioning, regulating, and embodiment of the government, which is intresting and helpful in day to day life. The study doesn't need any improvements rather it would be better the politicians who run our government should be exposed with the course's curriculum. Exam is held twice a year in Manipal excluding the internal exams and the weekly or monthly tests.

Students can undergo campus placements as soon as they get to learn softwares and prepare their portfolio which is mostly after 2nd year. Calming Life at SMIT

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester the students are eligible for campus placements opportunity. And the placement opportunity is above 95% . Various companies such as Dell, Infosys, Infotech, Wipro, Amazon, etc. come for placement and offer around 3.5 lakhs to 5 lakhs of packages to the students. The highest package offered for BCA students are 7 lakhs and average is 4.5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree is to get a join to get an experience and then pursue MBA or MCA.
