Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is decided by the colleg itself. It was awesome as it also included add on papers different from your conventional course leading to all round development of thinking ability. Exam pattern is semester system. Regular lab attendance is necessary. Average day is somewhere in between hectic and chilled out.

Placement Experience :

Campus interviews are conducted by most of the big names of the industry like infosys, tcs, wipro, airtel, etc. Most of the students like around 85% of the students get placed. The average placement package goes around Rs 7 lpa.

College Events :

There is a college annual fest that takes place and also a sports fest.In addition there are departmental fests according to their fields of study like commerce, economics, social sciences and in these participation is university level.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is very feasible and affordable as it is subsidized by the government. Fees for science courses is approx 8-10k, Fees for arts courses is approx 5-6k. So I think it's not very expensive that someone cannot afford.

Campus Life :

Campus life is pretty awesome. Environment is liberal with students coming from all parts of the country and abroad as well. Sports in particular has excellent facilities with a cricket ground, basketball, volleyball and badminton courts. College teams compete at university and national levels. There are political debates and discussion on relevant issues.

Admission :

Admission to Dibru College is on the basis of marks in 12th standard. Need to fill up the college admission form by giving preferences to course one wants. The cut off percentages will be duly announced by the college for respective courses.

Faculty :

Faculty is one of the most prestigious and highly respected in the country. At the same time they are easily approachable and sensitive to the needs of students. Their teaching methods very up to date so that one can understand it easily.

Placement Experience:

The college holds a high placement rate with a significant percentage of Students security jobs before graduation. The college attracts reputed companies e.g. google ,microsoft , bajaj, oracle,barclays , grow ,etc. for campus placement including top multinational corporations and leading firms in various sectors . Total 164 offers were made by 59 companies during last academic year(2022-23). In addition, IIT Guwahati students have already received as many as 214 pre placement offers during the academic year 2023-24. The highest package this year is 2.05 crore per annum. Placement rate is 72%. My plan is to get a good pre placement offers before my graduation .

My college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

One sessional exam and one semester exam per month reduces the burden on the students. Seminars are compulsory and they carry marks according to our curriculum and that helps us to improve our presentation skills and improve our public speaking skills. The sessional exam is not that hard and you can score well in semester exam if you solve previous years question papers.

I like physics so much that's why I chose this course and the faculty member are very friendly they helped us with every problem .there are 4 faculty members .there qualification is they all have PhD degrees. the teaching method is very good. there are sessional exams before the finals and it's is easy enough to pass if u study the regular class and attend regular classes.
