Course Curriculum Overview :

At this time we are in the first batch of NEP , so the teachers as well as we have to face many changes is curriculum like subjects and credits ....but the curriculum is very useful like we get SEC course which is a 3 credit course with 2 credit practical and 1 credit theory ... Per sem we have to give 2 exams mainly ( sessional and final ) class exams are dependent on teachers and the amount of course to be covered in a short period of time

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 8000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tuition fee is nice we can avail for that the course fee becomes very low like under 1k The complete course fee of my degree will be nearly about 50k with all expenses... The students also gets different type of scholarship...like money to buy book ......they can avail fee waiver as per apl / bpl also

Campus Life :

Like college week which held in the month of January- February, bihu , sports, marathon etcetc In the library it has more than 10k of books, ebooks, journal, etc we also have the access of departmental library which also have the books required for the course Ih the indoor stadium we have bedminton, table tennis etc , gym facilities also available in the college Student union also available, if we have any doubt we can ask them on chat bcz we are connected with them through a WhatsApp group as well as channel

Admission :

We should passed on the subject with good marks We can find the form in the college website ..but also we have to apply through the state portal of admission ....there is no fee for form and the application dates are dependent on hslc and hs results Reservation also available The frequency is low for the exams but we get enough time to prepare for exam

Faculty :

The faculty to students ratio in my department is 1:4 We also get mentorship in group of 4_5 students We can ask our doubts also in chat as well as ok call , if they allow us to call and they also give us enough time to clear our doubts in college also

My college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

One sessional exam and one semester exam per month reduces the burden on the students. Seminars are compulsory and they carry marks according to our curriculum and that helps us to improve our presentation skills and improve our public speaking skills. The sessional exam is not that hard and you can score well in semester exam if you solve previous years question papers.

Assam University Silchar Pros and cons

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements I guess. Companies like Infosys visit here. Avg package is of 4.5 L per annum. Higher the academic performance of a student, higher the chance of getting placements

The course curriculum is so good and they provide so many departments. I took admitted to the Chemistry department because I love chemistry and the teachers in our department. The non-teaching staff is as good as the teaching staff. In our batch, there are 65 students and all are friendly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like physics so much that's why I chose this course and the faculty member are very friendly they helped us with every problem .there are 4 faculty members .there qualification is they all have PhD degrees. the teaching method is very good. there are sessional exams before the finals and it's is easy enough to pass if u study the regular class and attend regular classes.

The admission process of the college in very simple. An online form is released by the college and after filling all the required information the final list of selected candidates is released by the college. After doing all the needed formality a student is eligible to study in this prestigious college.

Placement Experience:

Big companies and industries come every year to hire the students across the country. Also, many students apply for the further studies and the college reputation is very good in that terms. The college prepare the students from very starting about the organisational behaviour as well so that a student won't face any difficulties while appearing for any job in further years of their life.
