Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose the course because I was interested in machines and it's designs the faculty in our course are excellent the ratio between students and teacher is also quite good the faculty teaching method is good and the exam papers are quite difficult but it's solvable

Class Size : 250Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

International companies every year visit here in search of new talents and when they arrive they provide lots of internship according to the students talent on their particular field the companies like google, Microsoft, Amazon etc.. visits they offer projects to the students

Placement Experience :

After the completion of semester 6 students are eligible to sit for the internships provided by the campus and most of the international companies like google, Microsoft come and visit campus for placements till now the highest packed offered by the companies is around 2.4cr which is quite high and average package goes around 25 lakhs per annum and around 90? students gets placement

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure in this campus is quite costly but comparison with private university it's not too much I got the seat under ST reservation so I don't have to pay any course fees which is around 2 lakhs but I have to pay hostel fees

Campus Life :

The life at IIT is far beyond imagination it's very good here there are many fests which are conducted here the central Library contains almost all the books which teaches not only about studies but also about the life by the journals of famous people

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels provide a lot of facilities in this campus with the help of committee which is placed here by the students itself supported by the campus it helps the students regarding the problems faced in the hostels the hostels provides a gym, tv room, library etc... The meals in the hostels are good. The registration process is quite simple in the hostels you just need to move near security desk and give your details

Hostel Fee : INR 80000 per year

Admission :

Eligibility of the course is to qualify the the exam JEE-Advanced and the details regarding the eligibility exam is found in the website of NTA after qualifying the JEE advanced exam you should participate in JOSAA counseling once you get the seat in any IIT the remaining details are found in official website of their particular IIT

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio is quite good in the campus its around 1:8 . And the faculty student relation is good they take care of students academics and other activities too . In the whole semester there are 2 exams mid-term and end-term and in between there will be 2 quizzes of each subject conducted by respective professor

Interview Experience :

I haven't yet got any experience in that field but according to my knowledge to the interview rounds goes in 2 phases in which one is coding round and the second is interview round. And everything is based on your CPI criteria

Night Life :

There are many gyms provided like every hostel contains private gym and ther is a central gym with coach who help us to train and same as the library every hostel has one small library and there is one central library

You will get a campus placement in the uth semester and you have social, academic and industrial internships from college. The companies that visit are mentioned in the college website as it changes every year. Highest package is 8lpa that was provided in the year 2021. This year the highest package is 5lpa

Freshers review

Placement Experience:

The college holds a high placement rate with a significant percentage of Students security jobs before graduation. The college attracts reputed companies e.g. google ,microsoft , bajaj, oracle,barclays , grow ,etc. for campus placement including top multinational corporations and leading firms in various sectors . Total 164 offers were made by 59 companies during last academic year(2022-23). In addition, IIT Guwahati students have already received as many as 214 pre placement offers during the academic year 2023-24. The highest package this year is 2.05 crore per annum. Placement rate is 72%. My plan is to get a good pre placement offers before my graduation .

Admission:

I have just completed my schooling. It's but obvious that studying somewhere else from your hometown is exciting. And so as soon as I got my results, I started searching for the colleges and found AIT. As per my research, the faculty over here implements practical strategies into your studies that really made me choose AIT. The admission process was very smooth. They asked for certain documents that I have submitted and then pretty much went simple. It was very smoothly conducted by the teachers and the student volunteers.

Placement Experience:

Previously there was no placement opportunity, but now things have evolved, and now there are campus placements as well. The placement cell coordinators, along with the teachers, work hard to ensure that students get placed in reputed companies.
