Remarks :

College is good in terms of ranking and infrastructure. Professor's in the Mechanical Engineering branch are quite experienced and skilled. Admissions are only through the Josaa admission process after her mains in month of May to June generally. My personal choice as it was close to my hometown and ranked 5th best NIT In the country.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I was quite fond mechanical engineering branch and heard quite nice things about the department of the institute. The faculty-student ratio is very good. It is about 1:12 Inthe department and more or less the same in the institute. All the faculty are PhD and skilled. Apart from a few the teaching skills are also good of many professors. There are 3 exams in one semester 2 sessional exams and final end semester exams in a span of 4 months. You need to study thoroughly to pass.

Class Size : 130Course Fees : INR 133200 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The companies offer internship in 5th and 6th semester and offer posts of trainee and interns and offer stipends too. Some companies offer PPO i.e pre-placement offer. I have still not done an internship to say on that.

Placement Experience :

The students are eligible for campus placement in 7th semester and for internships in the 5th semester. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Dassault systems and others visit the institute. The highest package is in the computer science branch with close to 32 LPA and average institute package is about 7 LPA. About 80 percent students are placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are not hiked very often. It depends on the ministry of Human resources which decides the fee policy. The annual fee is Rs. 133200 out off which tuition fees are rs 125000 and rest is other fees. There is a scholarship for economical background students from both central and state governments. Depending on your family income you get the benefits.

Campus Life :

There are 3 annual festivals in the institute. The technical fest Axis in February, the cultural festival Aarohi in October and the entrepreneur summit Consortium in March are the 3 events. There are thousands of books available for all subjects in the library of the institute. The classrooms are also very good with all amenities. They are about 20 clubs off all types of technical and cultural and others.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel rooms are well equipped with internet access and all the required things. No issues with water and electricity. They ware common recreation rooms and sports rooms. The meal in the hostel is quite average and can be better. You can register for the hostel after coming to institute. The hostel is located in campus itself.

Hostel Fee : INR 70000 per year

Interview Experience :

There were no groups of discussion or interviews involved in the admission process. It was only depending upon your JEE Main scores.

From 7 semester the students are allowed to sit in placements The companies like TCs And capegeminis is common for mass recruitment and new companies like Accenture also visisted And total 200+ offers were made in placements Highest package this year was 21 lakhs in IT sector and the average package is 3-4 lakhs. Only 60% students get placed. I am going to do business after graduation as i dont trust college as it would give me placement

Our beautiful College

Placement Experience:

From the third-year sixth semester our college taking campus placement or internship programs. In the past, our college has got an average of 4 LPA packages and the highest 12 or 14 LPA packages. There are so many companies like TCS, COGNIGENT, WIPRO, etc. Our College gives 95-98% placement in engineering. My plan is to do a job in a data scientist post in the company and give my best to that company that's all.

Is RMD Sinhgad School of Engineering a good place for seeking admission

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their last year. There are many good companies that come and take part in the placement drives. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini etc. come here for placements. The highest package in my understanding was about 30 lakhs as studied and searched by me. Many students secure packages above 3.5 lakhs in our college. About 90% of students get placed through the drives. My plan is also to take a good job from placement and then do my masters.

Last year students gets the chance for placements. many companies came here to offer jobs for students. ex.l&t,HC,etc. for cs there is highest package of 43 lakh. for civil average package of 6-7 lakh is there. around 75-80% students gets placed. My Engineering Life Review in this college

Admission:

I got admission through CAP Round as directed by AICTE and DTE, the process is of 3 rounds until you choose a college and finalize it. Admission dates for FE students start from around May-June period as college opens at around 15 July approx. And Students need to bring all documents attested and submit the original 10th- 12th documents in the college and after completing the graduation. He/She can collect the originals from the college after collecting LC from the college.
