HITS will conduct an entrance exam every year in the month of AUGUST and registration must be done one month before. exam name is hitseee students qualified will also get a scholarship . HITS is one of the best campuses in south India were the aviation course was first introduced. Good at placement, Student exchange program and has various activities to admire students
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am interested in the research field so I choose Biotechnology. Since HITS is namely for mechanical and Aeronautics.Students in the biotech dept. are less and facilities teaching are Ph.D. and Mtech holders with vast experience. It is a 4year course and the semester exam will be held in the month of November and May. Clearing the exam is not difficult unless you show dedication.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are offered off-campus via Facilities in the respective lab or core. I haven't done many internships.
Placement Experience :
Students from the 7th semester are eligible for placement. Biotechnology companies visited are from bioneemtech , also from IT companies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fee per year will be 157000 without scholarship The tuition fee per year will be 75000with scholarship. Entrance exam Hitsee will be held during the month of August, registration for the exam must be done one or two months before. Placement call will come from 7semester, initial pay in the core job will be 35000
Campus Life :
No. Of workshop, stalls will be held dept. Wise. Students will be taken to a one-day industrial visit every semester and also long industrial visit out of state during the third year of study. Sports quota are also available namely Basketball, Football, volleyball, table tennis, Badminton .The extra circular activity also include NCC, NSS, Horse riding, Cultural club, rotary club. Every year will have Cultural fest, Sports day
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities available for both Girls and boys with and without ac and fee structure varies yearly. For the first year, it is five people sharing a room with a bath attached, common bathroom also available for which fee will be less compared to the bath attached and they are given a separate hostel and from the second year they will be moved to a separate hostel with either three sharing or two sharing, Ac room also available. Food does not complainable and both veg and nonveg available. The veg menu includes dosa, poori, idli, chapati at night, and side order like sambar, paneer gravy, Gobi gravy. Nonveg dishes include a variety of Chicken , egg.No mutton, no fish. Local PG is also available and fee 5k to 7k per month. Timings are strictly followed to enter the hostel i.e for girls before 6 pm and for boys before 9 pm. Hostellers are not allowed to go out of campus without getting gatepass.
