(HITS) Hindustan institute of technology and science Pros and cons

Dislikes

  • Some of the faculty tey are very rude towards the students not many of faculty only some of them
  • Attendance is their main target to collect money from the students

Course Curriculum Overview :

Here the course is very good but the faculty of some particular department of ours only are the problem for the students to join in this college the faculty will irritate students regarding their attendance blike they are coming to college because lack of attendance and faculty will find a silly reason and they will send them out of the class

Internships Opportunities :

The college has tied up with the nptel and anna university for internships and all types of ye internships are available and we can learn any type of internship and for the people who are doing their phd will get stipend

Placement Experience :

In our college the placement drive is taking seriously now days,so many companies are arriving to our college and the average package Is about 4.5 lakhs and about 20 to 30 companies are coming and going, and also so many students are planning to go abroad after their engineering to do their masters

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Here tutiin fee is about 120000 per year and registration fee is included in this and we have to pay for club fee according to your selection the price varies, and for every year we have e to pay for lab records beach record cost 100 rupees, and some of batchmates have lesser fee than me , because they joined earlier than me, scholarship is given to some of the students who are backward castes ,and the college environment is good

Campus Life :

YARONA is the cultural fest that will be happend every year in th even semester time period, the cultural fest is happened for 3 days and it will be good to enjoy the college life with friends ,for sports the college will encourage in a very good way

Admission :

I choose this college because I wanted to study in another state other than my state and I prefer to learn Tamil, and I got admission in veltech and the fee structure is high which i can't afford to it,the admission process is to first have a registration number by paying admission fee and then you have to pay the Full payment of fee at atime at starting and every year before the semester starts

Faculty :

Maximum all of the faculty were good towards the students, only some of them very rude and the students ratio is 3:2 based on the gender, here for each semester there will be 2 internal exams and one internal lab anad one external lab ,50% score is taken from the both internals and another 50% from the end semester exam.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. The Highest package is 9LPA. The percentage of college placement is 78 percent. I planned to make higher studies after my degree.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
