Remarks :

Management was good when we were in 1st year.bcoz that time the management was done by mr.s.n mohanty.

Entrance Preview :

OJEE, score-4234, it was a good college at that time it is the best college people say it was like a private iit college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It was good, lab is good compare to other bput colleges systematic classes and management is also good. Placement assistance is also there they offer both on campus and off campus.

Internships Opportunities :

They didnt allow us to do internships bput's exam shedule is not in proper way. They manytime change the shedule, so students dont get time to do internships.overall college didnt provide any assistance for internship.

Placement Experience :

Placement is not that good main company selection is only by infosys. then wipro many companies come and take 2-3 students.on campus is very less, off campus is more.

College Events :

Techfest, book fairs, some cultural festivals.inthose festivals college's participation in management is very less. They only provide students place to organise the competitions. They say they ll give 10000 cash prize, but at the end when prize distributed, there were only 3000-4000.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Its expensive but its good they dont ask money for placement. Other colleges asks money for calling companies. They give us diary in new year and they add that bill also in our canteen bill.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The odisha govrnment which provides scholarship of 10000 per year(cafas). College gives some money to the students who were in the scholars club.

Campus Life :

There were sports which is organised by college and sports club.sports like basket ball, voley ball, cricket, batminton, tt. sports club organizes both inter college and intra college competitions.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel and food is good as compare to other colleges. Thers a strict menu which they follow and one good thing students decide the menu.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni say that its the best college u ll realise after u passout from this college. But now i m a alumni i didnt feel anything different but engineeres are always different than normal grad students.

Exam Structure :

It was good some faculties were good. They assist us some of them shout us when we ask qns which he dont know.

Faculty :

Some of them are good, not all of them.many good faculties left the college. Now in et branch thers no good faculty.in cs and eee branch there were good faculties.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements where they have to show their skills to the interviews in order to get placement. The name of the companies visited are Infosys, Oracle, Dalmia, Tata. The average package the companies give is around 3 to 4 lacs. My plan after getting the degree is to already settle by getting a placement.

According to seniors , placements are good and decent comparing to other nits . After 6 semester , company are hiring for placements . Many companies has visited more than enough . Highest package I seen in 23 is 1.12 CR in rubrik from senior . My plans after degree is doing sde job at company.

Reality of GIFT college

Placement Experience:

Placements! Once upon a time in year 2016-17 Amazon, Oracle etc used to come... Now all are just less paying startups who select for 3,4,4.5 lpa on average Yeah some get 9-10lpa if they are really good, opportunities are always there for good students, but not more than this... If you're dreaming a 13,15,20,50lpa package, don't wake up, it's not possible in real life here (atleast till now)

This college provides a good environment for professional study. I got alloted to the college through my entrance mark so i chose it. It was my dream to study Electrical engineering but i didn't got the branch in any other college and i got the department over here so i thought it would be better to study here

Placement Experience:

Various companies visit our campus for recruitment. Among those companies the name of some big companies are TATA, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, JINDAL, LNT. For being able to sit in the interview for any campus a student must have scored a minimum of 7 cgpa and must have good communication skills. In my knowledge there is no big startup by our batch.
