OJEE, I am not able to recall my rank. Its been 6 years since I gave that exam. Most probably 742. I wanted to study CSE. But government colleges were over. So this was the best private engineering college hence opted for this college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course was divided over 8 semesters and 47 subjects. First 2 semesters were same for all branches. Actual branch subject started from 3rd semester. The course is very nicely designed by the university and varied range of subjects.

Internships Opportunities :

Our college does not offer internships and curriculum does have place holder for internship. But college provides full support if any student wants to go into any company and do internship. I myself have done summer training at a Public Sector firm.

Placement Experience :

Placements up to the mark. Wipro, Infosys, CapGemini and Mindtree to name a few. Average Salary is same which is offered to all freshers in a service based industry.

College Events :

College celebrates over 15-20 events all the year round. All major festivals and hostel functions are celebrated with pomp and show.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is feasible and it is revised every year. But for a continuing batch its same for all four years. Which means for a new batch if the amount is Y, the same would be continued for the rest 3 years. For a new batch it will be Z.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College provide scholarship for top 2 performers in every branch in form of cash prize. I am not sure about loans.

Hostel Facilities :

Best in campus hostel. Ranked best among all the colleges in the state. Hostel has strict rules and timelines. All four years one can stay in hostel. Food is okay as per hostel standards. Separate canteens for both Veg and Non Veg people. Apart from canteen we have cafeteria to serve ala-carte menu.

Alumni/Alumna :

College organizes alumni meet every year. Its a great event with fellow alumni's participating from all over the world.

Exam Structure :

Exam structure is designed by the university, so its varied for all semesters and branches. Overall the structure is good with ample time for preparation. Lab exams were conducted well in advance. So it was kinda chilled out.

Faculty :

Faculty are very much educated and faculty panel consisted of varied degree holder members. Students can get guidance over variety of topics and projects. Describing about all faculty is difficult but all details can be found here.

Placement Experience:

Placements in KIIT are great as they are able to invite almost all top companies across globe and also train the students in the formative year of their bachelor's degree. They also continously guide students about various placement rounds involved for different companies.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements where they have to show their skills to the interviews in order to get placement. The name of the companies visited are Infosys, Oracle, Dalmia, Tata. The average package the companies give is around 3 to 4 lacs. My plan after getting the degree is to already settle by getting a placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements! Once upon a time in year 2016-17 Amazon, Oracle etc used to come... Now all are just less paying startups who select for 3,4,4.5 lpa on average Yeah some get 9-10lpa if they are really good, opportunities are always there for good students, but not more than this... If you're dreaming a 13,15,20,50lpa package, don't wake up, it's not possible in real life here (atleast till now)

Students are available from 7th semester for their placements. There are companies like amazon , deshaw, Goldman Sachs, microsoft major companies come and also many other IT companies also come and psu, hcl like core companies also come. In CSE almost all people get placement and in us and ece ratio is good but in below branch placement is average. I want to do a job in the software field.

Remarks:

This college provides a good environment for professional study. I got alloted to the college through my entrance mark so i chose it. It was my dream to study Electrical engineering but i didn't got the branch in any other college and i got the department over here so i thought it would be better to study here

Placement Experience:

Various companies visit our campus for recruitment. Among those companies the name of some big companies are TATA, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, JINDAL, LNT. For being able to sit in the interview for any campus a student must have scored a minimum of 7 cgpa and must have good communication skills. In my knowledge there is no big startup by our batch.
