Remarks :

It was a Government College and was close to.my hometown. Also it is in Nagpur which is why I thought it would be good. And it was a new college. That means ours was the foundation batch. So being a government college I though we would be taken proper care of.

Course Curriculum Overview :

RTMNU syllabus and course is considered as traditional. Means it is not updated. The modern technology is not introduced much. Also we were not exposed much to industries. Also ours being the foundation batch, even practical ere not held properly due to lack of practical equipments.

Class Size : 72Course Fees : INR 26000 per year

Placement Experience :

Good for CSE and ETC branch because IT companies come for placements and campus interviews. Mechanical core companies did not come for the first batch that is ours. Ours being the first batch we are going to be passouts this year. So no alumni. Some students are going to have a startup this year.

College Events :

Extracurricular activities are held properly which started from our batch as we started organising events and took reins in our hands. Students are active smart and intelligent. But the activities under the college faculties are not done propely.

Campus Life :

Poor wifi. Sports only during sports week otherwise neglected.equipment in labs were minimal and even absent in most subjects. Buildings are good but the campus is not too large. But it is kept clean.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel room are small. 2 persons per room. Hostel seats are limited but a lot of PG options are available nearby. Hostel mess is not good. PG rent is reasonable and very cheap. To avail for hostel, good marks should be obtained every year without backlog.

WHY YOU SHOULD NOT TAKE ADMISSION IN YCCE?

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester the students are allowed to sit in placements The companies like TCs And capegeminis is common for mass recruitment and new companies like Accenture also visisted And total 200+ offers were made in placements Highest package this year was 21 lakhs in IT sector and the average package is 3-4 lakhs. Only 60% students get placed. I am going to do business after graduation as i dont trust college as it would give me placement

Our beautiful College

Placement Experience:

From the third-year sixth semester our college taking campus placement or internship programs. In the past, our college has got an average of 4 LPA packages and the highest 12 or 14 LPA packages. There are so many companies like TCS, COGNIGENT, WIPRO, etc. Our College gives 95-98% placement in engineering. My plan is to do a job in a data scientist post in the company and give my best to that company that's all.

Is RMD Sinhgad School of Engineering a good place for seeking admission

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their last year. There are many good companies that come and take part in the placement drives. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini etc. come here for placements. The highest package in my understanding was about 30 lakhs as studied and searched by me. Many students secure packages above 3.5 lakhs in our college. About 90% of students get placed through the drives. My plan is also to take a good job from placement and then do my masters.

Last year students gets the chance for placements. many companies came here to offer jobs for students. ex.l&t,HC,etc. for cs there is highest package of 43 lakh. for civil average package of 6-7 lakh is there. around 75-80% students gets placed. I am thinking to do a master's in further civil engineering

My Engineering Life Review in this college

Admission:

I got admission through CAP Round as directed by AICTE and DTE, the process is of 3 rounds until you choose a college and finalize it. Admission dates for FE students start from around May-June period as college opens at around 15 July approx. And Students need to bring all documents attested and submit the original 10th- 12th documents in the college and after completing the graduation. He/She can collect the originals from the college after collecting LC from the college.
