Remarks :

Not very helpful / reachable. Our department was isolated from all other departments in terms of building , so not aware of what was happening around.

Entrance Preview :

I had written TANCET and score above 35, went through counselling organised by Anna Univ and got seat.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Initially my batch faced a lot of issues as we were left wondering if we were to semester or trimester pattern. Finally we had moved to trimester pattern which caused little chaos. However after our batch it was moved back to semester pattern, so it felt like rushing of syllabi and writing exams most of the time.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship was found out by each individual student and back when I had done none of the companies I approached offered any. Recession was going around so most companies were not even willing to get us in.

Placement Experience :

We were stuck right in time of the recession, so our college hadnt organised for our batch. We were allowed to attend in other colleges , some of my batchmates got through in Ford ( Finance) and me and one of my other friend made in Vodafone ( Sales).

College Events :

Cultural -, College Day ,3 day Tour Technical - Symposium, Soft Skills Development Programe , Industrial Visits, Guest Lectures. We were allowed to participate in events in other colleges symposiums & technical events in terms of Entrepreneurship development.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Expensive back then as facilities were not much except for our magnificnet building. However 3 yrs back when i visited it looked totally different, amphitheatre sort of seat arrangements. Library was stocked but not sufficient for all. Purchased books were mostly irrelevant.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I dont think that any of my batch mates were studying with any such thing, we werent told such thing existed.

Campus Life :

Well the environment is good , master library is good. Sports is also encouraged but i guess since ours was a trimester pattern, we couldnt do much.

Hostel Facilities :

Very bad, Hostel rooms were spacious enough for triple sharing but absence of any shelves made it tuff. Since the place is cold, college could have invested for solar roof top heaters as bathrooms were shared. Frequent water shortages were witnessed. Food was worse and most of us frequently had stomach upset and quality of food was bad and way too expensive. No proper connectivity from main road to college.

Alumni/Alumna :

It seems like a rush of an event conducted. Dint have any graduation day, only toppers were asked and event was combined with Engineering Graduates.

Exam Structure :

Since our batch was in trimester pattern, every exam after 3 months and in between 3 tests , so we felt we were all time writing exams.

Faculty :

Very supportive in terms of Marketing Paper. Discussion of case studies was also there and periodic presentation from students was mandated. Bad in terms of Systems, IT.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate is great in this college. Last year placement rate was 96.5% and the second last year it was around 94.7%. In my batch, the most noteworthy bundle of a student was 14 LPA and the least bundle was 6.5 LPA and the most noteworthy bundle is 9.5 LPA and the least was 5.6 LPA. The top companies that recruited us for placements are Microsoft, HCL, Citi Bank, Mahindra, Tata, Wipro, Google, etc. Currently, I am working with Flipkart as a full-time employee and got placed because of my 3-month internship with them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum for the MBA course is researched well. Also, the exam structure followed by the university is quite decent as well. My exam experience with them till now was easy to comprehend. The entire faculty of the MBA department is qualified and extremely professional in their domain. They have always made me understand every single point with utmost clarity. I respect all my professors of the department.

Remarks:

Overall the College is a good college. But there are too many levels of hierarchy. We never really know who is the main head of the institution because there are so many people like Principal, Chairman, Director, Coordinator etc. The university the college is affiliated under is not good. Anna University is keen on looting student's money.
