Dislikes
- Foods provided in the hostel is not up to the mark.
- There is only a college fest that too happens once in a year. We need more like that!
Course Curriculum Overview :
The reason for me choosing Mechanical is that i wanted to achieve something in aerospace and science. But after joining, the dreams faded and i reaised which suits for me and i was looking for managing roles which is more apt for me than engineering.
Internships Opportunities :
Our department staffs engages us by arranging internships in various known companies. They took initiative and asked all the students to attend internships in various industries and reviewed our learnings from the industries.
Placement Experience :
The placements are pretty good over there. Many of us in our batch got placed in good companies and with a decent package. We can expect placements for all the departments not only IT companies but also core companies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The annual fee is 97000. The fees over there are pretty average if you are a scholarship student or if you come through counseling. But if you are a management student, you have to pay a donation for seats and the fees are a bit high.
Campus Life :
KCT is known for clubs and forums. We have over 30 clubs and forums actively working in the college. Students over there do various social, artistic, leadership activities through those forums. We have technical forums too which makes student to involve in various projects and competitions.
Hostel Facilities :
Rooms in the hostels are nice and wardens are friendly. But the food provided there needs few improvements. Lunch and breakfast is great but need some changes in the dinner. Overall, the quality of the hostels is great.
Admission :
You can get admission here in two ways. You can get it through government counseling as well as management seats that you can avail through paying donations. If you score great marks in your 12th and if you have a good cut-off, you can get admission here.
Faculty :
The faculty student interaction is great in KCT campus. They also give equal importance to studies as well as extra curricular activities. They encourage all the students. Thats the one thing which is great over there.
