Mahesh T G's Review On Sri Jagadguru Chandrashekaranatha Swamiji Institute Of Technology - [SJCIT], Chickballapur

Remarks :

College management must conduct mock interviews for the students to improve their skills.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Well, knowledge professors will well equip classrooms and supportive for all workshops and projects with placement support. They take us to pool campus placements to make sure all students get placed in MNC's. The college has a separate Placement cell to make sure all the students get placed.

Placement Experience :

Placements in the college are good, companies like TCS, TECH MAHINDRA, VIT, INFOSYS, WIPRO etc companies will come for campus placements. They even take students to pool campus placements to make sure all students get placed in MNC's. The college has a separate placement cell.

College Events :

The college conducts inter College festival called SAMBRAMA, and every department conducts national level and international level technical and non technical Workshops. Which helps the student to learn extra thing than the syllabus. Even they will provide a certificate for Participation

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee of the course is dependent on the CET(Common Entrance Test) ranking. If one gets a good ranking, the fee for the student is lower than the student gets more ranking in CET. Apart from that if the student elects to stay in a hostel then the extra fee to be paid as a Hostel fee.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Students are eligible for that Scholarship based on the caste and financial income of the parents. The government will announce the scholarship every year

Campus Life :

Classrooms are bisexual, environment friendly Campus which is situated outskirts of the Chickballapur Town, located in 49 acres green campus with Digital library with Internation journals. College also celebrates ethnic day where all the students encouraged to wear traditional dress on the day

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility in college is very good, hostel fee is depended on the Sharing and food you select. The hostel provides both north Indian and south Indian food. If one chooses north Indian food. He must pay an extra fee as a mess fee and if the student wishes for a single stay then the fee is a bit higher than normal. hostel rooms have up to 3 sharing.

Alumni/Alumna :

The college has a separate Alumni team that conducts Alumni meet once every 3 months. Alumni have one group where they post about the openings in their current company

Admission :

As I completed my polytechnic on the same campus, I know well about the college and its reputation. It is also known as Sri Jagadguru Chandrasekharnath maha Swamiji institute of technology Which has a very well reputation around the city and state. Admission happens based on CET ranking

Faculty :

Well knowledge professors, who support students to get the knowledge about the topic, supportive staff who cares about student future and encourages students in all aspects, not only academic wist but also curriculum activities and sports and yearly inter colleague fest.

Placement Experience:

Last year due to recession the placements were low comparatively. From semester 7 onwards we are eligible for campus placements. I do not exactly have the correct statistics, but all the students who tried outside got the jobs easily. Highest package 32 lacks and least goes upto 3 lacks per annum. Last yearpercentage of students placed is 66 and before that it was more than 90 My plan is to get a good job, after the degree and if I cannot get a good job then I will go for higher studies abroad.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements by the start of the 7th semester, and the internships by the 5th semester. Since Mangalore has many MNCs, most of the campus drives start with those companies. We have an average package of 18LPA and it varies according to each branch of engineering. Mostly all the computer science-related branches have 23LPA as their average and the core branches have 14LPA. Almost 95 per cent of the students get placed. The highest package has even crossed 50LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the computer science was booming and also beeing an aspiring student towards that field I had decided to do CSE. The curriculum is was less practical towards the real world applications. They should have include industry professionals to teach they would have better knowledge and experience. Every one we used to have exam like mid term , FA, and end terms. Difficulty depends upon prepration level done by student.

Placement Experience:

They are eligible for placements after 4th semester and the placements are average, a lot of companies have visited I can't say them all ex like Infosys, TCS , and a lot of American and Taiwanese companies, the highest place ment in this campus was around 28lpa and average is around 1L and the percentage of students getting placements are below average like every other college cause this mostly depends on you and not the college its all based on your skill set. My plans are to get a job with a good lpa and I'm confident about that because I have a good skillset which would benefit the companies.

Placement Experience:

If talking about the placement placements are good companies like Wipro or Amazon and many other companies will visit the campus but the ratio of selection is less. So little bit hard work is required or else around 60 to 70%. Students are placed from my college in every year.
