Remarks :
The college is managed nicely. Everyone is friendly and easily approachable. The people working there tries to slove the problems of students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The exam takes place on semester basis, you have to give 2 semester exams in one year. Every semester consists of 5 papers and the final year consists of specialised papers. The exams take place in month of November to December and may to June. This pattern helps us to deal with the load of getting things done in small span of time. The course curriculum is vast if compared with annual exam pattern. And because of limited number of students you get individual attention.
Placement Experience :
Placements takes place by involving the local companies or the bank branches or NGOs. The faculty tries to inform us about different internship program all over the the country and the big institutions. I have applied and was selected for an internship but I couldn't do it because of conflict between the working hour and class timing. But many people in my class are part of different internship programs.
College Events :
There are number of seminars which takes place on different topics and by different department and there specialists. Different programs like dancing,singing, mimicry,drama, skit, rangoli competition, mehndi, sports, debate, turn the coat, poetry, essay writing etc competition takes place in the youth fest. Weekly ecovoice, paper writing, debate takes place.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The couse fee is ?6240 annually for normal seat. The mode of payment is online. And the college provide transparency in the fee-breakdown. According to me the fee is very nominal and affordable. The staff is friendly and soft spoken so they clear all our doubts about the fee submission process.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes, the uttar pradesh government every year provides the scholarship to the student enrolled in different courses but the only condition is the student should be a resident of uttar pradesh. The process is online, we need to fill the form online and submit the form with the Xerox of our documents at the college office. And during January or February we get the scholarship in our account. The bank account should be of any bank in varanasi.
Campus Life :
The campus life is fine. There is a high male over female ratio. There are different labs like computer lab, English lab, commerce lab etc the library facility is also very good. The students from different religion, caste and colours studies there together nicely. Though the economic status of every student is not very good. But people with good economic condition also study there.
Hostel Facilities :
No, as there is no hostel facility provided by the college so the students need to live outside the campus. Although many pg's and flats are available near the campus. Which is just walking distance away. The charges of the pg's including the food water and electricity is approximately ?5000 per month. There are also pg's were the option of self cooking is provided and there charges are ?2000 per month for a sharing room, electricity and water.
Alumni/Alumna :
As such we don't get that friendly experience with our seniors. But the alumnis are great, they occasionally are invited to share their experiences with us.
Admission :
The admission is done on the basis of bhu entrance exam. The exam takes place during may and it is computer based exam with different syllabus for different courses. After the exam in 2 months the result gets published on the site and after that you you need to see you mail regularly if it calls you for counseling. You have to report to the concerned department at bhu campus with all your documents. After that you have to make the fee payment online once the link gets activated, remember 4 times more students are called for counseling for limited seats. Once the payment is done the seat type gets upgraded and you are called to be present at the college to submit the documents and get the library card.
Faculty :
The faculty is very kind and friendly. They try to teach their course with 100% effort. They try to communicate to everyone individual and clear their doubts. An interactive session takes place everyday. Many efforts are done by the faculty to teach the students public addressing and paper writing. Many clubs are there like ecovoice eco weekly to entertain the new ideas of the students every now and then.
