Remarks :
Positive remarks are the students of dav college gets degree of Banaras Hindu university and exams also conducted in BHU.there are more numbers of classes than bhu.And negative one is no hostel facilities available for all students as compared to bhu.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The corce MA economics is good for all graduate students.Syllabus and classes run according to BHU guidelines and exam takes by BHU examination authority. And same syllabus according to bhu.exams are semester wise.
Placement Experience :
Equal opportunity and treated as BHU students. According to merit students can placed in good companies.some students can take part in bhu placement on the basis of merit and college placement cell also arrange the internship.
College Events :
Every year youth festivals conducted in college,students take part in many cultural and sports events.And the winners in their particular sports and programme can take parts in BHU spandan youth festival.Time to time sports and seminars organised by the college in which the national celebrities come in the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Nominal government fees less than 10,000 annual.Fees structure is little bit higher than the BHU fees for the same course.It is feasible.and suits every students.No any extra fees for cultural programs or anything.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Students can apply for government scholarships and other local scholarships.I have not availed any scholarship programme but most of my friends take advantage of government scholarships.I have no idea about loans but can apply for loan in bank situated in college campus.
Campus Life :
Yes,college provides the extra curricular activities as like workshops,cultural events,sports and many cultural activities.there is no any discrimination about gender.labs are good.Only college in North india which have language laboratory.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni network is good. College conducts the allumni meets every year as well as BHU also conducts for dav students.Senior students are quite helpful.They help as much as they in my sight.overall a good alumni network exist.
Admission :
You can take admission on basis of entrance test conducting by Banaras Hindu university.student who gets lower merits admission in dav after BHU admission.it is the college of art and commerce.It's commerce faculty is very nice.
Faculty :
One of the Best in varanasi.most of the faculties from bhu and some are the schlors from BHU. Very regular and punctuate faculties and only phd and net jrf qualified faculties can teach in dav college.and they are very helpful to the students.
