Our college has a vast campus. With many grounds .
Our college also has many food court and also has many and big grounds.

Dislikes

On main festivals like Diwali and Holi there is very less days of leave.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have chosen computer science and engineering because it offers the highest package. Our college provides us with coding from 1st semester which is a good thing. And also they start DSA early in 3rd semester so it gives very much time for preparation before placement.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 240000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

For Internships there is not that much opportunities as compared to placement. If you are an excellent student or any extraordinary student then faculty will take you with them and will work with you on many projects.

Placement Experience :

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Many big companies such as Google, Amazon, Flipkart, and Adobe visit our college. The highest package is 3 crores and the average is 6-7 LPA. Mainly students get placed. After my degree, I will take placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total fees for computer science and engineering students for a semester is 1.20 Lacs but the college also provides scholarships. To get the scholarship at the time of admission we have to take a test named LPUNEST. The maximum scholarship is 30 percent of the total fees of 1 semester.

Campus Life :

Many fests are there in the college but most fests are paid. The college has a very big library it has mainly every book and it also provides a good environment for studing quietly and also provides free internet. Every classroom has projectors. There are many social groups in the college run by students.

Admission :

Eligibility for B.Tech in LPU is minimum 60 percent in class 12th and you have to qualify there entrance exam which is LPUNEST. You can give the test in online and offline mode . I have preferred online and the exam was very smoothly taken. I didn't availed any reservation benefits and there are not so.

Faculty :

Our teachers are all well-educated. There are some teachers who are experts in their teaching courses but there are many teachers who don't have knowledge of that course but then also they teach that course. Every student is provided a mentor. Meetings with them are scheduled.

Placement Experience:

From passing 2nd year onwards students are eligible for the placements classes which costs around 10-12k till 4th year. I'm from mechanical field so the highest package is around 18 lakhs and average package goes to 4-6 lakhs.

Inside LPU: Student's prespective

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as I was passionate about coding from my 10th class and technology always fascinates me. In our class, total students were 70 which was same for most of the sections. Some faculty members of my college were good while most of them were tolerable. Most of them had masters degree and some had done PhD. They were focused mostly on the curricullum designed by the university and completed syllabus within the timeline.Our college had separate marks for attendance and any student with below 75 attendance will not be able to give end term exams except for some medical condition. We had CAs (class assement exams), mid term exams and end term exams. The CAs are little bit higher level as that of mid and end terms exams. Overall exams are moderate to higher and someone who had studied the syllabus topics and followed the faculty members will easy pass the exam.

A Closer Look at LPU: A Student's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Placement of cse is very good with respect to other branches. Almost 70–80% of eligible students(having cgpa more than 6.67) get placed in different mnc’s. 1.package less than 4 lacs 80% of placed students get package of less than 4 lacs in companies like cognizant,tcs,techmahindra etc. 2.package in between 4–7 lacs 15% of placed students falls in this category,they get companies like bosch,yodlee,hitachi etc. 3.package of approx 15 lacs Remaining 5% students get placement in amazon(package 16 lpa) which visit lpu every year.

Only one thing I hate about college is they don't paint the building outside of the whole college for income tax purpose I think this is very disappointing thing of the college But otherwise College is good.
