Remarks :

College management needs to work on timely solutions for students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course structure is good and up to date but there isn't much focus on research. Some days are hectic when you have classes and labs from 8 to 5 and some days it's pretty chilled. Really depends on the hrs that your subjects demand you put in per week. Before exams, there's one week's holiday for preparation.

Placement Experience :

The placement is excellent. About 70-80% were placed every year. Placed in Infosys. Resume manager is criteria for shortlisting and then called for test/interview or both.

College Events :

Tech fest engifest aahwahan literature etc. All fest was celebrated all around the year one after the other. The annual fest is engifest in the month of Jan/Feb with tech fest followed by star night. Runs for almost 2 weeks. Freshers night and hostel party were also celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

130000 for b.tech programs. 170000 for m.tech programs. Fees were paid through SBI collect platform. No cash payment is allowed for a fee. DD accepted only for education loan candidates. Expensive as compared to other government institutions, but fully transparent. No donation and completely based on merit index in marks secured in gate exam.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes, Gate AICTE based scholarship for 12400/month. AICTE accepts applications and approves them with college administration.

Campus Life :

80:20 ratios boys: girls. Workshops and labs were fully furnished and well maintained. Computers were outdated but some were equipped with high-end specifications for CAM/CAD. Students from national and international areas were there. in general a good platform for all kinds of education, games, quizzes, societies, research-related works, and enjoyment.

Hostel Facilities :

Depending on the hostel you get, your experience can be average to very good. Hostel B, C, and H are average While FRE is very good. Rooms are either two-seaters or three-seater or 4 seaters. There's also a choice of AC available in some hostels. Rooms, in general, are spacious and mine has a balcony and an attached bathroom as well but not every room gets that.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni networks are limited but seniors are helpful if you are enough lucky. Alumni meetings were held once a year.

Admission :

I got admission into this college on the basis of jee mains marks, The first three rounds of the admission process happen online, and then there is in-person counseling for which you need to come to the college. In the in-person counseling, they make you sit in descending order of your rank and call a group of children at a time and that's about it. I chose ECE because of my interest in physics and specifically electronics and the course has a good demand in the industry.

Faculty :

Some were excellent but mostly average teachers. You should be self sound in making arrangements for study material and projects. Some teachers were there for just time pass but some are really good. Still finals words are the same you must be self sound in making your study fruitful.

Placement Experience:

From 3 semesters or in the final year students become eligible for placements. TCS HCL WIPRO Cognizant were some of the companies who came to our college and 15 offers were made there in our couse Highest Package offered was 10 Lacs and Average Package offered was 3.5 Lacs and lowest package offered was 2 lacs 60 Percent students got placed in our course and some students did not for placements as they were more interested in teaching and Research Field. My plan was to get a govt job or job in corporate sector as having a masters degree gives you some advantage in the govt exams In Case Student did not get any placements and then he can prepare for govt job and can do some course to keep him up to date with latest technologies in the industry and for better prospects
