Mtech from dtu at a glance

Remarks :

1.The admission process was through gate score, you need to register for desired course and admission will take place concerning your gate score. 2. I had sc quota 3. There were no such things as minimum marks one should be gate qualified and he/she can apply and the admission depends on the cutoff. 4.on the counselling day they will provide you forms to fill up and then they will call u according to your marks higher marks will have higher priority to choose branches. The most famous branches fill out first.

Course Curriculum Overview :

1. choose signal processing and digital design because the other famous branch was VLSI and I don't like coding so that was the only choice I had. 2. 1 faculty to 20 students it was pretty good I must say. The interaction was always on point. 3.the faculty was mostly PhD or ongoing PhD people's. 4.almost every semester had 3 exams in them sessionals one two and then final. If u take sessionals seriously then it is easy to pass otherwise very difficult

Internships Opportunities :

1.For MTech there are no internships provided by the college we need to make 4 projects throughout the course. 2.as I was from the signal processing branch my project were hyperspectral imaging, no plate detection, senior design master using morphological functions and lastly ultrasound segmentation

Placement Experience :

1. For BTech from 6th sem and for MTech 3rd sem 2.TCS ,Infosys, Qualcomm, byju's, and so many 3.we had people placed at 18lakh in Qualcomm 4.in MTech it was like 60% for BTech i heard about 90-95% got placed 5. I graduated in 2019 and I working in a private company as an analyst

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

1. First year fee was 139000 and the second year fee was 151000 respectively. 2. Stipend was 12400 per month .for that we need to do the signature of mentor every month on our attendance sheet also need to maintain 70% attendance throughout. We need to provide teaching assistance to our mentors.

Campus Life :

1. Dtu had like 4-5 fest at the starting of the year from January to February end. The most famous is engifest happens mostly in February 2.dtu library is the biggest library I have ever had came across you can find almost every book u wish to find 3.amenities were enough 4.BTech guys had more opportunities in sports as compared to MTech because mostly we are busy in talking classes or giving classes but we surely had time to enjoy. 5. I did gym regularly there so that the only sport I have been to

Placement Experience:

From 3 semesters or in the final year students become eligible for placements. TCS HCL WIPRO Cognizant were some of the companies who came to our college and 15 offers were made there in our couse Highest Package offered was 10 Lacs and Average Package offered was 3.5 Lacs and lowest package offered was 2 lacs 60 Percent students got placed in our course and some students did not for placements as they were more interested in teaching and Research Field. My plan was to get a govt job or job in corporate sector as having a masters degree gives you some advantage in the govt exams In Case Student did not get any placements and then he can prepare for govt job and can do some course to keep him up to date with latest technologies in the industry and for better prospects

Placement Experience:

The placements at IIT Delhi are amongst the highest in the country and are very good. The students in the final year are eligible to sit at placements and have to register themselves at OCS (offer of career services), IIT Delhi. About 85-90% of the students registering for placements are getting placed with an average of 8-9 LPA and highest ranging up to 30-35 LPA from Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, Microsoft. Many students not opting for placements go for higher studies abroad.
