Remarks :

A great college and it's not easy to get admitted here. It's a new college so the campus is still being modified but all the basic facilities are available inside. We have three canteens inside the campus too.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course structure is very relevant and optimized. All the required subjects and practicals are taken with deep understanding Exam structure is as follows: Ise1-10 marks Mse-30 marks Ise2-10 marks Ese-50 marks

Placement Experience :

Walchand College of engineering is known as the no 1 college in Maharashtra for placements. A no of companies recruit students with a very good package College does provide internship and there are interviews and recruitment process for internships also with a good stipend.

College Events :

College has a numerous amounts of technical and nontechnical events including techumen, jagruti, sitac, alumni meet, impulse, was workshop, ASG, yuvarang, Vision and many more Most of them are national level events with participation of around 500-1000 students

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible 15000/- tution fees 60000/-development fees Remaining-other fees Visit college website for detail of fee structure which is according to category of student.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Minority scholarship-a available for students who belong to caste of minority-15000/- per year, Obc-45000/- fees is only to be paid, SC/ST- only 5000/- fees is required to be paid.

Campus Life :

There are many extra curricular activities conducted like annual social gathering and annual sports event-West There is no ragging done in college and there is no political and economical discrimination A lot of workshops are conducted by students in college regarding various topics

Hostel Facilities :

I haven't opted for hostel, 4 people share a room, Hostel condition is good, Hostel seats are few, Ambience is very nice of hostel, Boys hostel condition is bad.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

There is a huge and great alumni network, A website is created for students to connect to alumni and there is alumni meet held every year in college, Seniors are the most supportive and enthusiastic.

Admission :

The only exam valid for this college is MHT-CET One needs to be in merit in this examination CSE cutoff for ladies-150 CSE cutoff for open-153 Electronics-136 open CSE cutoff-sc-125. .

Faculty :

Faculty is very qualified and supportive towards students.They carry a very good experience and teach every course in detail with through knowledge and also the resources and labs provided by them is very useful.

After the 7th semester of the last year i.e. last year a placement drive takes place and the companies which come in the placement drive offers the students who has passed all the semester without any pending backlogs. 70 percent of the students get placement every year.

A Pretty Underrated College

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester itself. Last year a ton of companies visited the campus right from TCS, Infosys, and Accenture to ZS associates, Veritas, etc. There is a good opportunity for nontech branches also in the college, the package is not high but it is good. According to the college, almost 78% of students got the placements. The highest packages were 45 LPA Amazon, 44 LPA Microsoft, and 36.5 LPA D.E.Shaw. The majority of the placements above 12 LPA were off campus, few were on campus. My plans after getting a degree are to be placed in good company with a good package

Course Curriculum Overview:

All the students are given electives to choose and we also have the compulsory courses too, common for all. The electives could be chosen based on varied interests of students and are very engaging. The compulsory courses are chosen and kept very wisely and are essential for computer science and engineering students. The courses and evaluation plans are very well created and curated for students to be able to solve real world problems too later in professional and personal lives. There aren't much suggestions and areas to improve as of now. Exams and tests are conducted almost every two weeks. This keeps the students keen on learning and practicing all the while and doesn't let them slag in between the semester. The exams are monitored from the headquarters at Pune, and hence all is kept under check and maintained.

BVPCOE entrance exam i got 187 rank and took mechanical engineering and choose this college because i wanted this course only.
