College review

Remarks :

College is quite good but it doesn't have large infrastructure and playground. Faculties are very well educated and experienced.Labs are quite small and equipments used are very old.Placement was not good which is now getting good and in future will surely increase.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum has very vast syllabus with too much submission.Exams, labs and submissions are quite hectic.within a span of 1 semester 3 exams i.e unit test, mid-sem examination and end-sem examination is conducted.

Placement Experience :

College don't have quite good placement but from recently the placement has increased.Companies like jangrodhak cement and veda's international have assured the placement for B-tech civil students. Alumimas from college passout have also assured the placement of candidates.

College Events :

Various events are celebrated in college some are College level while some are even state and national level events. K.B.P talks is one of the biggest event held in our college.cultural events are also held by various clubs recently celebrated shivjayanti was also a big event.Sports day and gathering is also held.Alumina meet is also going to be held.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee Structure is quite uneven for different categories of students. Students in open category have fee structure of about 90000 whereas students with EBC have 45000-50000.Tfws seats have fee of 8500. Some candiades have fee of only 100 rupees which is quite unfair as compared to 90000. Other caste candidates have fee of11000 rupees.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College helds various scholarships especially for economically backward class and for girls but I don't have much idea about scholarship. I only know about one scholarship facility i.e Cummins Scholarship. It is quite helpful it is held in three stages 2 exams one written and one aptitude test and third stage is of interview candidates who qualifies all three stages receives scholarship. All the fee is paid by Cummins and candidate receives 50000 annually.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities are held but they are not held frequently.Labs are not well equipped and equipments are quite old.Sports are held but college lags behind as College don't have big and proper playground for sports. Gender ratio is high in Computer and electronics department but less in Civil and mechanical.Students from all over state are present and few from out of state all are treated equally and no discrimination is done.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumini and college seniors are very helpful they provide help with every problem it may be curricular or other including family or personal problem. Alumini meet which will be held son is a good decision made by college for student-alumini interaction and for increase in college placement.

Admission :

I chosen BCA because it's a profeesional CS degree, compare to engineering we can complete this course in three years but also can get a job as a software engineer and if we want to do the job at the same time wants to complete masters in CS so many software companions will sponsor us

Faculty :

There are very few faculties who are recently joined and with less experience but they too are quite good at their particular subject, remaining faculties are very well experienced. Their are different faculties for different courses with their speciality.

Talking about placements, most of the placements occurs in CSE and IT branch, but surprisingly in the Government College of Engineering Aurangabad, the Mechanical branch has the same placements comparatively just the fact is that the package is less.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As every Diploma passing student enters to degree college same process I went through. The faculty of the college are well educated and hardworking. As a student, you have to reach out to your faculty and maintain a good relation with them to get constant support from them. the ratio is 25:1. The teaching method of professors is very professional. Exams are as per the government regulations and the difficulty level is moderate for general students.

Placement Experience:

Students are encouraged to take internships from the moment they are confident and can handle responsibility. They are eligible for placements after semester 4. Approximately 60+ companies visit the campus every year and they take an average of 4-5 offers. For instance, the highest package can be 40+lpa from Microsoft. 90-100% placements happen every year. My plan after getting the degree is to acquire a placement and work with the organization.

The college Bajaj Institute of Technology, Wardha is very reputed college as it is Shiksha Mandal's college. I saw many advertisement about this college throughout the year and that's why choose to take admission in it.

Placement Experience:

Till now no company has visited. 2 students are selected and that is with their own efforts. Not having any job referral because hardly few students are placed. In startup one group won the hackathon and I guess they are doing their startup thing
