Remarks :
sports events are very good in college. College faculties are not that helpful when it comes to cultural events.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Learning impact was quite fair but not that close to research driven. Only revolves around basics. There was very little industry specific knowledge to students due to poor structure of cirriculum. And there were no placements for this course. Few Industry visits were arranged.
Placement Experience :
For my course there are very few placements here. Cooper corp, crane flow, mutha founders these are the local companies from satara which visit college for placements. They recruit on the basis of firstly aptitude test then personal interview after the group discussion session combined. 15% - 20% students students gets placed every year. Institute does take sessions regarding how to crack placements.
College Events :
Technothon is the techincal event every course holds every year in which students from different colleges across the Maharashtra participates. They are not as big as held by IITs. Cultural festival is also held by institution every year. And some other events like TEDx are held by students in the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fees for every course is same and vary according to reservation category of the student. They accept only offline payment option including bank to bank transfer. There is no additional fees they take to secure admissions. College does keep transparency in fee breakdown.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Scholarships are provided for every economical backward class students. Every student who wants to avail scholarship must submit required documents at college. And there is eligibility criteria of 65% marks in previous year and minimum annual income as per the guidelines of the scholarship.
Campus Life :
B to G Gender ratio is around 60-40. A lot of workshops and students groups for every sport or music are there. You will get every type of student here scholars to athletes, with diverse religions, poor students to middle class students and also higher class students are here.
Hostel Facilities :
I was not in hostel but College does provide hostel with limited number of students with 3 bed sharing rooms. Hostel fees are very minimum. Hostel rooms are not that standard. Very poor quality hostel rooms.
Alumni/Alumna :
College seniors were so helpful in every aspect like in studies or cultural events or maybe in assignments. Their experiences does helped a lot which led to optimum utilisation of time during the course.
Admission :
I always wanted to learn mechanical engineering so passionately. It is a well known institution in satara having quality education. As compared to other colleges in satara city, it is the best college and which is near to the city. As per the marks obtained in CET exam after 12th std. you will be shortlisted as per the merit basis.
Faculty :
Lectures were enough of 8 lecture a day each of around 45 min including practicals. Faculty is very nice and well experienced and with average age around 45 years. Knowledge of the faculty is nice regarding their subjects.but lectures did not hold any certificates.
