Remarks :

Admission was done through CET. .You need to score more than 95 percentiles to get admitted to this college if you belong to the open category. You need to score more than 90 percentiles in MHCET PCM to get admitted to GEC Aurangabad if you belong to OBC.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The professors are good. Visiting faculty teaches most of the classes, especially for FY and SY, and HOD also takes time to time lectures. Even the principal is so dedicated and she takes lectures on time.

Placement Experience :

Talking about placements, most of the placements occurs in CSE and IT branch, but surprisingly in the Government College of Engineering Aurangabad, the Mechanical branch has the same placements comparatively just the fact is that the package is less.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The Fee for the OPEN category is around 80000 per year. For OBC, NT, and VJ it's around 40000 per year. And for SC, and ST it's around 2000 per year. Hostel charges are around 1650 per year. College gives campus placement.

Campus Life :

Being an engineering college, I'll say it's quite strict. No functions occur here. Once a year there's a Wings technical event. Rather than that no cultural or any other events happen in GECA. Books are available.

Hostel Facilities :

Girls hostel is nothing less than a 5-star hotel. It also has a mess facility. But if I say about boys' hostel, both A and C hostels are in average condition. No development and care are taken of that. No mess facilities in the boys' hostel.

A glimpse into Kolhapur Institute of technology.

Placement Experience:

The eligibility for campus placements in Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS) typically starts from the pre-final year, which is usually the 6th semester. There are very named tech companies which visit to the college like TCS,WIPRO,etc. Average package offered is around 6 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed in placement drive is 90%.

I choose this course because it is very interesting course. Iam interested in this course. It is very easy to understand. There are two semesters in a year.
