Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is very well defined and is one of the best in the country. The course is of 4 years and each year is divided into each semester. The course researched oriented and include a lot of practical subjects.

Placement Experience :

The placements of the college are top class like any other IIT. The the college offer internships to the students and also the top domestic packages and international packages are provided by the best companies of world.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is a bit expensive but when compared to the facilities, infrastructure and also the placement of the college, the fee is not much. The fee is 2,00,000 INR per annum making it 8,00,000 INR for the entire course.

Campus Life :

The college is a very nice campus and infrastructure. The college has an area of 500 acres and is full of on campus facilities including a very good library, sports grounds, hostels for both boys and girls etc. Also the college organize fests annually.

Admission :

The admission in the college is from the well-known entrance exam JEE Advance. The students need to have qualifies the JEE Mains examination and should have atleast 75% of aggregate marks in 12th boards.

Faculty :

The faculty in the college is top class. However, the faculty is not the topmost among all the IITs but it is better than other colleges offering B.Tech. The faculty is highly qualified and experienced.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was doing bachelor of Technology in computer science. Starting from the classroom to the computer labs , everything is available and well maintained. You learn programming and languages with the help of faculty and for every student there is computer available with all equipments. In a week, there are 3 days of computer lab practice and 3 days for classwork. The professor tests and skills very often and if there is any inefficiency , he/she will help you to correct it. The curriculum at Shaheed Udham Singh College of Engineering and Technology is thoughtfully designed to provide a comprehensive education that balances theoretical foundations with practical applications. Placement Experience:

In- campus placement is not that good it is below average as they have taken way too many admissions their placements are not even to rely on they dont provide with good companies coming for selection average placement in CSE in 3-4 lpa they focus on theoretical knowledge more than the practical knowledge so no students are ready for the placement criterias and at last they fail as predicted

SLIET: A Modern Gurukul

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem for the degree and 6th for the diploma and 4th sem for the Mtech Students. Placements are about average and this year 2023 the placement ratio is growing faster and about 70 percent of the students from each branch got at least an average package. 20LPA is the highest in the history of SLIET offered by Microsoft. I have already been placed in HCL and Cognizant-like MNCs. So focus on the only job now.

My review

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Chitkara. The placement procedure starts in the 6th semester of our college and goes until you are graduated (8th semester). Need to mention that Chitkara holds a record of 100% placement. Every student gets placed here. Companies offer anything between 3lpa - 12lpa. But you need to study a bit for getting placed. Note that college cannot force a company to recruit students. Companies recruit based on tests and interviews that they conduct. My plans after getting a degree will be to work for the company I've been placed in.
